I noticed my dad and Zack's dad have already gone outside. I looked to Zack, who was observing me so intently, my every action.
"Okay." I said with no emotion, and looked back to Daniela.
"Great!" She smiled.
"How was your guys's week?" My mom asked, seeing Daniela walking into the kitchen.
"Good." Zack said never taking his eyes off me.
"Peachy." I added sarcastically. Never taking my eyes off Zack either. Boy oh, Boy oh, boy, if looks could kill...
I would be on Zack's grave- stepping on it.

Seeing I probably had no other choice. I had to stay.
For oreo's sake.
"Okay?" My mom said making it sound more like a question, "I'll be in the kitchen helping Daniela prepare. Oh, and Daniela's other friend is coming over with her family." Without another word she walked over to the kitchen. I noticed Zack squinting his eyes, as if trying to figure out who was coming over, but didn't ask. Probably because he didn't want to interrupt my mom and Daniela talking about which Pads work best for periods.
Yeah, their conversation escalated quickly.

He looked back at me and so did I. He looked at me still as if he was observing me, then changed his expression to sadness. Mine was still with no emotion.
What I noticed is that this sitiation is ironic, because usually he's the one with no emotions, especially at school, everyone listens to him because they're scared. Like when he told everyone to leave at the cafeteria. But somehow, with me, he shows his emotions, his vulnerable side, his true side...
