Chapter Three: Behind The Human

Nyancat followed Jonathan after class dismissal.
"Ugh, who are you? Another demon?" he asked, looking at her poptart-cat hat.
"Demon? Dude! I'm in your class," she said, a little annoyed by the tone in his voice.
"Oh, sorry." Jonathan started to walk away faster. "Hey! Wait up!" Nyancat yelled.
"Why did you think I'm a demon?" she asked with confusion.
"You won't believe me if I told you."
"You're right," Nyancat said, "I won't believe you unless you tell me- so tell me!"
Jonathan sighed.
"Can you see him?" he asked.
"See who?" Nyancat replied, very confused. Jonathan began to cover his face with his palms.
"Look, if you don't see him, you'll think I'm crazy!"
Nyancat just stared at Jonathan.
"Ugh! There's this guy named 'Sock' that keeps on saying he's my 'demon counterpart' or whatever," Jonathan said, quietly.
"S-Sock?"
"Yeah, that's him."
