Chapter 3
I woke up and walked to my blue stand up mirror. WHOA! What happened to my hair? Emergency, I so have to fix this pronto. Okay, I am gonna need my straightener , check. Next bobby pins, check. I wish this thing would heat up faster GAH! Might as well pick out an outfit. Now were talking this denim skirt will so go with my new halter top, and my flats.
Now that we have an outfit, lets fix this mess.
* Hour Later*
My hair looks amazing. I wonder if they have a mall around here? I think I will ask Jessica. "Mom do you know the Newton's phone number?" I yelled from the kitchen.
"Yeah, honey its on a sticky note on the fridge."
"Thanks, Mom. Do you care if I go to the mall with Jessica?"
"Yeah, sure honey . Have a great time."
I found the sticky note and dialed the number from my cell phone. Someone finally picked up on the tenth ring. "Hello?" a cute male voice asked.
"Hi, Is Jessica there?" I asked.
"Yes, whose speaking?"
"This is Rebecca, I just moved in across the street."
"I know who you are, this is Parker."
"Okay....can I talk to Jessica now?'
"Oh, yeah sure.'
After some crackling , I heard someone ask who is it and then Jessica answered.
"Hey, Rebecca. What's up?'
" I was wondering if you wanted to go to the mall with me." I said in a rush.
"Oh, sure just let me tell my mom and I will walk right over. Ummm... What are you gonna wear?"
(I explained to her about my outfit and we hung up)
I walked up to my room grabbed my black and silver wallet and threw it into my matching purse and grabbed my car keys. As, I walked down the stairs the door bell rung. I ran the rest of the steps down and opened the door, it was Jessica . She was wearing a dark blue denim skirt and an aqua blue tank top with a white cardigan draped over her arm. She also, had white flats and a zebra clutch.
We walked out the door and to the garage. We got and my car and I revved up the engine. I looked at Jessica and she was grinning. "You like fast cars?" I asked her.
" Of course lets go!"
"Safety first" I said and pointed to her seatbelt. We both just busted out laughing. We listened to some music and Jessica spoke. "What is that vibrating the whole car?" she asked.
"My speakers of course, couldn't live without 'em."
"I like it, you think my mom would let me get some when I get a car."
"Hmmm...I really don't know."
"I hope so."
About that time we pulled up to a red light. I red corvette was sitting beside us. It was Parker, was he following us?" I looked over at him and he was looking at me . He nodded I nodded. I looked at Jessica and yelled over the stereo " Hold on!". The light turned green I gunned it, shifted gears. I looked over to my left expecting the Corvette only, to notice it in my rear view mirror about 10 yards back. HAHA! We smoked him. I saw Jessica in my peripheral vision, she was laughing her butt off.
Five minutes later we were walking in the mall. We looked in Claire's, Aeropostale, Abercrombie, and American Eagle. By that time we had like ten bags apiece. We made our way to the car. Some guy whistled when I bent over to grab my keys off the ground. I unlocked the car and put my bags in the trunk, I turned towards, the noise. It was a couple of guys by a Ford pickup. They just wish they could touch this.
I got in the car where Jessica was waiting and crank it up. I pulled up beside the guys and rolled down my window. "If you liked that, watch this perverts!" I yelled to them. I smoked my tires in faces and shot them the bird. Haha, I hope they got the message. Jessica, was just laughing again.
