Chapter Two

Kana peeked behind the door, looking at the basketball practice. Shoes squeaking, ball hitting against the ground, and yelling of the players were heard. Kana watched amazed of Seirin's strategy they used against each other.

The first years were against the senpais, but the senpais weren't going to let Kuroko and Kagami beat them so easily like their last match. They swore to get revenge no matter what.

Riko saw people crowding around the gym, and she walked over to the gym's door with an unamused face.

"What are you guys doing? You're distracting my players."

Riko looked over to where everyone pointed, and saw a timid girl, who was about the same height as her. The girl was blushing wildly, watching the basketball match.

Riko sweatdropped, and gave everyone else a flat look. "Get away from the gym."

Kana snapped out of her trance, looking at Aida Riko who was shooing away Kana's fangirls and fanboys, yelling that if they have no interest with basketball to leave.

"Coach, are you okay?" A tall guy came out sweating. He had black hair and glasses on. Junpei Hyuga.

"Yeah." Riko said, looking at Kana who was starting to sweat, playing with her fingers shyly. "Kizuna-san, why are you here? You know this is the basketball club right?"

"Are you interested in becoming out manager or something?" Hyuga asked, and Kana shook her head.

"Oh! You're that popular girl!" Koganei yelled, and Kana smiled awkwardly.

"Kana-chan, right?" Tsuchida asked, and Kana nodded.

"Why are you here?" Riko asked, and Kana pulled her to the side. Riko gave her a confused look, and Kana looked at her with determination.

"C-Can I t-t-talk to K-Kagami-san..?"

Kana stuttered on her words, feeling shy that she said his last name out loud.

Riko squinted her right eye, then nodded.

"Kagami-kun! Come out here!" Riko yelled, blowing the whistle to tell everyone they were going to have a break.

"Thank you Aida-san... I know it was a lot to ask for." Kana said, and Riko shook her head with a smile. "Just call me Riko. Good luck!"

"E-Eh?!?"

"Kagami-kun, bye bye." Riko shoved the boys in, and pushed Kagami out, slamming the gym's door shut.

Kana was freaking out while looking up at Kagami, who wiped his sweat with his practice's clothes. She tried to say something, but ended up stuttering.

"Kizuna right?" Kagami asked, and Kana nodded quickly, standing straight. "What did you need?"

"I can do this! Kana, don't be scared!" Kana cheered on herself in her mind, and gave a thumbs up while nodding confidentally. She pulled out a pink piece of paper that was in her cardigan's pocket, and handed it to Kagami with a blush. "Kagami-san, here..."

"Oh, what's this?" Kagami mumbled, opening the piece of paper with a confused look when he saw girly writing on the paper.

Kana chuckled nervously, "Um... It's a 30 days free girlfriend slip. If you accept it then we'll be dating for 30 day for free."

Kagami's eyes widened, and the boys in the jumped screamed 'HUH?!' loudly.

"It's weird huh?" Kana giggled, trying to snatch back the paper, but Kagami held it higher with a blush. "I guess it works that after 30 days we can seperate right?" He asked, and Kana nodded slowly.

Kagami cleared his throat, his cheeks red. "I can't believe this.. Kuroko cursed this or something..." He muttered under his breath, and nodded. "I accept."

Kana's eyes widened and a happy smile grew on her face.

"A-Arigtou... Kagami-kun?" She questioned, and Kagami shrugged. Kana bowed, "Please take care of me."

Kagami scratched the back of his neck awkwardly, saying an agreement. "Please take care of me too."

"What kind of confession is that?" Hyuga asked, and Riko was looking at the two who were outside with an unamused face.

"This is Kizuna-san way." Kuroko said, scaring the whole basketball team.

Kana held out her hand, too embarassed to say what she wanted. Kagami looked at her, confused. He gave her a high five, and Kana's blush went even deeper.

"She's really adorable..." Furihata said, his first year teammates agreeing.

"Etto... I have to leave right now." Kana said, and Kagami nodded. "See you tomorrow Kagami-kun!" Kana smiled, waving as she walked away.

Kagami waved back, and Kana ran away, squatting down and covering her face. She was feeling really shy now, not believing Kagami accept her 30 day free dating slip.

Kagami walked back in the gym, and Kuroko shook his head at him.

"Oi Kuroko! Why are you shaking your head?!"

"High five..." Kuroko mumbled, going back to his position.

Riko blew her whistle, and the match continued.

"Kagami, you lucky bastard..." Hyuga said, and Kagami didn't know what his senpai was talking about, but he shrugged in agreement.
