Chapter Four

"Kagami-kun, what's this?" Kana asked, seeing a tray filled with food placed in front of her. Kagami had his share of thirty burgers too.

"Well... You barely eat and I noticed that someone stole your lunch today so... Don't think I'm always looking at you or something..!" Kagami yelled with pink cheeks.

Kana giggled at his cuteness, "But I don't eat this much..."

Kagami had bought the girl ten Maji burgers, two boxes of fries, a large chocolate milkshake (because Kana had requested it), and many many more food.

"Y-You're skinny... And I don't like it." Kagami mumbled, stuffing his face with a burger. Kana laughed at him, placing the sides of her face in her hands.

"So you wouldn't mind if I were chubby or overweight?" Kana asked Kagami curiously.

"Doesn't matter to me. I would still date you." He said sincerely, then realized what he said, "Only if you offered me the free dating thing again! Don't think too much about it!"

Kana nodded, opening the wrapper for the hamburger and taking a bite. Her face lit up in happiness as she took another bite and hummed in approval.

Kagami was surprised on how cute someone could actually look while eating a cheese burger. He really was surprised. It made him want to hug Kana and never let her go. Yes, she was that cute in his eyes.

"Kagami-kun, do I have something on my face?" Kana asked, her face cocking to the side a little as she asked.

"Cute..." Kagami muttered.

"Huh?" She smiled.

"Nothing..! Sorry.." He said shyly.

The two continued to eat while Kana started up the small talk. Kagami was horrible at keeping conversations because he was just so awkward around Kana (which is usually the other way around). But he blamed that Kana was rubbing off on him too much, and he didn't know if it was in a bad or good way.

"How do I say this?" Kana said nervously, playing with her fingers after she took a sip of her chocolate milkshake. "It's weird but I want to call you by your first name Kagami-kun.."

"How's that weird?" He asked, making Kana blush.

"I-I don't know..."

"Kana..?" Kagami asked, feeling embarrassed that he actually said her first name. He never really addressed her or he just called her by her last name.

It felt weird, but a good weird. Kana probably didn't like it since she had all those boys tailing after her and yelling her name.

"Taiga?" Kana said, her face red like a tomato.

Kagami laughed at that, "Why is your face so red? Weirdo." He teased her, taking another bite of his food.

"I'm sorry..." Kana pouted unconsciously. It made Kagami's heart speed up a little bit, flushing his cheeks.

"No, I'm sorry. I'm not good at things like this and I've never had a girlfriend in my life." Kagami coyly admitted. This caught Kana by surprise because he seemed like the type that would be experienced in this field.

Then again, Kagami really was only focused on his love for basketball.

"So is this your first time on a... date?" Kana asked, not knowing how to address their meeting. Was it a date or was it just them hanging out after club activities?

"Yeah... First date." Kagami told her, stuffing another hamburger into his mouth.

Kana smiled, a little proud that she could take the title of being Kagami's first date. It was a weird thing to be proud of, but she was proud of it anyways.

"Is it boring? I don't really talk much or have any friends, so sorry." Kana apologized sadly. Kagami shook his head.

"Just Kana being herself is fun. Our date is a lot of fun too." Kagami said, his ears and cheeks going red.

Gosh, how many times has he blushed already?

Kana's cheeks turned pink and she let out a giggle.
