Chapter Seven
After I'd called Steve he said he'd come pick me up but that he didn't know if he'd stay to meet Abi. "PLEAAASE!! Steve you're her favorite Avenger."
He rolled his eyes. "Sport, you know your parents wouldn't appreciate that. It isn't a good idea to give you more ties to any thing Avenger related."
"Steeeeeve! I don't want to lie to her... But I have been and I'll continue to. Just let her see people she wants to anyways. She'll be here soon." I was getting excited.
Steve sighed. "You really want her to meet me?"
"Well, she's already met you. When you came to Hawaii forever ago. She was seven and still has the poster you signed."
"Oh..Wow. Well isn't that something?!" He laughed.
"She was the little girl wearing your original costume, but red, white and blue rhinestones."
"I have a picture with her in one of the scrapbooks I was given that day. But as heartwarming as that is, I shouldn't be doing this, sport."
"But you will? For me?"
He let out a long breath. "I...yeah, I guess. I mean..." He smiled and shook his head. "It's hard to know what's right and wrong with you."
I smiled. "Thank you Steve! Oo! She'll be so happy!!" I was bouncing up and down in my seat like a little kid and Steve laughed. "She's my bestest friend, Steve, I want her to be happy."
"I know, and it's great, but we're not going to be as close as we are okay? I just know your family."
Wow Steve is going to lie for my dad's stupid thoughts... Maybe there's something to this... I nodded.
**Skip to when Abi shows up because I'm a stupid bitch***
I ran over to the plane as the stairs unfolded from the side of the plane, waiting at the bottom for Abi. When the door opened I was jumping up and down, "Eek! Abs hurry!" She caught sight of me and ran down the stairs.
"Hey, girly!" We hugged for a good five minutes.
"Oh. There's someone I want you to meet. I know I kept this a secret...but the family friend is more of just a guy we know, who my dad met a few times and kept in touch with and would trust with his life. His name is Steve Rogers. The Steve Rogers. "
"What? Seriously? Why didn't you tell me?! It's like you have an entire other life sometimes."
"I know, but... I'm sorry, Abs, I'm not supposed to tell anyone."
"Ugh... Well I want to meet him."
"He's waiting in the car. Also, I told him about the costume you wore back in the day, he remembers you. Said he has a picture in a fan scrapbook."
"No way...Omg..."
I rolled my eyes. "Cmon." I pushed her towards the car.
"But, but but..."
"No buts. He's cool."
She kind of whimpered.
"You already met him."
