Dear Granger,

I'm sorry I upset you. If you ever need to talk just come to the house, we can sit by the beach and watch the sunset, or sunrise, or the waves. Or we can look at the stars. It's just an offer I understand if you don't want to be friends.

From,
Malfoy

It was on Hermione's bed after she ate lunch and the Weasley's all told her whether or not they had forgiven Malfoy, because they had figured out that he was the one who'd manufactured his coming over. She focused on the fact that Ginny and George were the only ones who needed proof that he meant what he'd said. All of the Weasley's had been there that day, Bill, Charlie, Percy, George, Ron, Mrs. Weasley and Ginny. I was glad that only two of them weren't willing to forgive him that fast, and that only one of them refused to at all, Ron wasn't talking to me. And even Harry had forgiven him, I was quite hopefully. The only problem was I hadn't sent him an owl back, I figured if it would be a very surprise visit. Or if I didn't visit it wouldn't be a surprise. I smiled but I was very torn, go see him or don't. "Ginny I need some help," I whispered to her. "I'm finished." Ginny announced then. I hadn't had a chance to decide what to say. "As am I." I said silently cursing Ginny. She and I walked up to our room and I stared at her for a moment before deciding to just be blunt. "I need help with something." I handed her the note and she read it quickly. "You can't be serious Hermione." "I'm dead serious." "No I won't help you with this." "Why not?" "Because you can't seriously forgive him and be his friend. Sure my family will forgive him but they'll never be his friend." "You don't speak for them." "Hermione, promise you won't go see him." "I'll tell someone I'm going to see him before I go, that's the best you're gonna get." "Fine." I grab my leather jacket and walk out the door of the house before Ginny gets to the bottom of the stairs to stop me. I apparate to Malfoy's house and land in front of the door. I think about leaving but that would just prove Ginny right. I knock on the door and Malfoy answers, "Granger?" "Yeah it's me." I say. "Not to be rude but why're you here?" "I needed to leave that house to think. And this was the first place I thought of. I'm sorry." "it's fine I can leave to get food or something and let you think by yourself for a while." "Really thanks but I think I wanna talk more than anything." "Alright come in," Malfoy invites looking confused. "Nice house." I say politely, though it's really quite messy. Malfoy waves his wand and the house is completely clean. "Thanks, I wasn't expecting you." "I know." I smile at him. He smiles back, uncertainty touching his eyes, before he puts on his usually guarded mask again. "So how're you?" He asks looking confused as to what to say. I lean closer to him and before I know what I'm doing I give him a small peck on the lips. As I pull away I realize what I've done, "I'm so sorry. I'll just leave now. I don't know what came over me. I'll never come back. Please I'm sorry don't hurt me I'll never talk to you again. I'm sorry."I back towards the door and as I open it he grins. "It's fine. Please stay. I'll just forget about it." "Really?" "Really." "Thank you, I'm sorry really it won't happen again." "What won't happen again?" "Thank you!" I exclaim. He smiles at me and he invites me to sit beside him on the couch before he turns on his TV to a channel I don't recognize. He looks at me and I see a mischievous grin on his face. He stood in front of me and offered me a snack I nodded and said whatever he had was fine. He went to the kitchens grabbed crackers. And when he sat down next to me he leaned across me to set the crackers on the table. As he leaned back across he turned to look at me. I smiled, "Thanks." I was cut off before I could say anymore, as he kissed me fiercely on the lips and when he pulled back he payed attention to the show while I looked at him trying to figure out what exactly the kiss had meant.
