Hermione's Point of View
_____________________

I woke up the next morning not knowing where I was. It took me a minute to register that it was Draco's arm slung over me. And that comforted me. I remembered Ron's harsh words and started to cry softly trying not to get my tears on Draco's black t-shirt I'd worn to sleep in. He woke up a few minutes later. "Are you okay?" He asked me. "I'm fine, it's just shock catching up to me." "Okay, is there any particular reason you didn't turn over and cry into me?" "No, I just, it's nothing it's really stupid actually." "Hermione?" "Fine, I didn't want to ruin you're shirt." "What about the one you're wearing?" "I didn't want to ruin it." "Ruin it. I don't honestly care." I nod and turn into his chest. "I'm sorry, I promised a long time ago I'd never cry over him again. And IF I did I wasn't gonna let anyone see it. I'm stronger than that." "I used to think that way. But I don't not anymore. I feel kinda like if I show emotion now I'll be weak because I never used to but that's not the case because what doesn't kill you makes you stronger." I nod, unable to speak for the tears. He holds me tightly and whispers sweet things into my ear. "Hermione, it's okay to cry. You don't have to hide it. I'll always be here to hold you. I love you." "I love you too," I say when I calm down. "You know last night when I was almost asleep I thought that I felt safe in your arms, no matter how little time I'd spent in them." "You weren't asleep when I came in here?" "No I was almost though," I say. "Oh I was trying to be quiet so I didn't wake you that was why I wondered." "Okay Draco, get out so I can change." I say. "You can stay in my t-shirt if you want." He offers. I grin at him, "I might." He smiles and leaves so I can change.
I walk out of the room a few minutes later in a different outfit than I was wearing last night, having summoned them from 'the burrow,' I was in one of my favorite muggle outfits. A green crop top, with short jean shorts on. He wolf whistles. I roll my eyes at him. "What'd you do apparate there and come back?" "No I summoned them." He grinned, "Can I have my shirt back since you're not wearing it?" "No." "And why's that?" "Because I'm stealing it and it's mine now." "Are you sure about that?" He asks me backing me toward the counter. I hop onto it in one motion. "Of course I am. I don't say things unless I'm sure." "Hermione, I want that shirt back." "Well you'll have to steal from me sometime then." I say. "Maybe tonight when you stay again I can steal it right off of you." I grin, "And who's to say I'm staying? And that I'm not going to get real pajamas if I do." "Well, you're not going to that house if Ron's there. I won't let you," he pauses when I smile, "And I suppose you and I could go get your clothes so you can move in." I cock an eyebrow at him, "Move in?" "Yes, you could live here. I'll sleep on the couch if you want." "I could just get my own apartment." "Hermione," he whines, "I want you here." "Fine. But I'm keeping the shirt." "Why?" "Because it's from the night I said I loved you for the first time and when you told me you loved me so I'm keeping it." He rolled his eyes, "Fine." I nod, "Now please either make breakfast or kiss me." I say because he has his hands on the cupboard behind me and he's right up against the counter with my legs spread so they can be put around him if I want. He smirks. "Fine what do you want for breakfast?" "Draco," I complain. He smirks, "What Granger?" "Nothing, I just I really want pancakes and I'm not exactly sure you know how to cook me a nice muggle breakfast with no magic." He glared, "Not funny." "I'll teach you." I say.
He grins, "How about I just watch you and that's how I'll learn?" He says. I roll my eyes. "Move then." He nods, "One thing first." I nod at him. He leans forward and I wrap my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck. He kisses me softly at first and then he kisses my harder. He lifts me off the counter, his hands supporting me by holding my legs. I open my mouth and he puts his tongue down my throat. I let out a soft moan and he sets me back down on the counter and stops kissing me, "I wouldn't have stopped you." I say as I catch my breath, "I know but I would've stopped me. I needed to." I nod understandingly, "Now let me make breakfast." He moves out of my way and settles himself leaning against the wall with his arms crossed looking like an absolute God. I glare at him, "Why do you have to look like a god no matter what you're doing?" He smirks, "I look like a god?" I roll my eyes and go back to making the pancakes. The next thing I know his hands are snaked around my waist and he's rubbing my sides. I turn around, "If you don't want the food to burn stop distracting me." He smirks, "So I distract you." "Draco," I say smacking his arm. He grins and walks back to the wall. A few minutes later I put the plate of pancakes on the table and grab some orange juice out of the fridge. He smiles and grabs two glasses and some wine. "Not this early in the morning I don't need to be drunk my noon." He smirks and puts the wine away. I grab two cups and pour orange juice into each setting them on the table. He smiles at me slyly. "What?" I say seeing the look on his face. "I'm just thinking how good green looks on you." "It's my favorite color." I say. "Greens your favorite color. Interesting I thought a Gryffindor would've like red or gold." "I do but my favorite color is green." He nods and eats his pancakes complimenting me on how good they are. I blush, "Thanks." I say. He nods and does the dishes quickly using magic. We walk to the living room, "I best go tell everyone I'm moving here" "Okay, I'll be there to pack as soon as you want me to be there." I nod, "Give me about five minutes they should be in the living room.
"Hermione!" I hear when I apparate into the living room. "Ron said you were with Malfoy and that you yelled at him and so did Malfoy." "Yeah he's telling the truth." "Thank God he left a while ago and said he was moving out. Are you okay?" "Yeah I'm fine, Malfoy offered to let me stay with him. I came here to tell everyone. It feels like the right thing to do." Ginny's face falls, "Hermione if he hurts you come back." "He won't hurt me. I feel it." "I suppose I can deal with this then, since you feel safe." I nod, "He's going to come and help me pack. I was wondering if you'd help. He's changed a lot since school." "Sure, I'll talk to him." We walk up to my room, "I'll tell everyone later." "So wait you stayed there last night, did you two?" "No Ginny. This morning we almost did but Draco stopped I told him I would've let him but he said he knew that which was why he had to stop himself before he took advantage of me." She grinned, "He'll be good for you." "Really Weasley? I will be? What changed your stance?" I roll my eyes. "Draco be nice." "Absolutely nothing you need to know about." "You told her about this morning." Draco accused me. "So what if I did?" He smirked, "Maybe we should go and just finish what we started." "Get a room." Ginny said. "Sure," Draco says leading me out the door. "That's not funny Malfoy." I start laughing as I walk back into my room. "Immature much?" Ginny mumbles to me. I nod at her as Draco walks back in.
