still Rays POV
Stoping my car on my reserved parking, yes I got my own the school provides it for me when they learned that I'm my father's daughter. Well it's not like, I'm the only student with a private parking here, there's a lot, and this school is for middle to elite families. Scholars are welcome but you should be a real genius to pass their exams.
I look at my watch and see that I have 30 minutes to spare. I get out of my car, get my bag, and the most important thing of all my coffee and sandwich.
I made sure I have all the things I need before locking my car doors. I put my car keys on my slacks pocket and continue walking towards the university building. I could see everyone doing their own business, but still someone would stop talking and just stare at me when I passed their way. I could do that sometimes get their attention even if I didn't do anything at all. I just ignore these things and look for my room.
I think I'll be having my pass time subject this morning, literature, you would ask why I'm taking this if my course is not even related to it, well because I can. I'm fond of poetries, novels and any other things to read, but keep it in mind that I'm no nerd or geek, I could kick your ass at any time I hear you say anything like that.
I walk in the lecture room when I finally found it. I see few students inside, and I look for an empty sit on the middle row on the center column.
The arrangement of this room is that of theatres or seminar halls. The backseats are higher than the front, but instead of single chairs, the sits and tables are continues, they look like blocks in arc shape. There are two gaps between this seats for you to walk onto, making three arc columns. And in the front center of these columns the lecturer podium is placed.
As I settle on my sit, setting aside my wrap up meal, I place my bag on the table and take out my laptop. This school surely have a wifi hotspot everywhere. I should look for Dina's background before I help her. And I need to hire someone to investigate the things I want to know.
I was about to browse the net and mail my dad to look for an investigator when the door closed, and all the students, including myself, turn to look at the woman near it.
We follow her with our eyes as she walks towards the podium. I can't believe this, she can't be our teacher. She looks so young, a fresh graduate, maybe three to five older than me; I'm nineteen by the way. She'll be eaten alive here if she's not tough.
"Good morning everyone, I'm Layla Adams and I'll be taking care of this subject for this semester, Literature." She said, as she started looking at us. I think she's counting her students. "Could all of you link your computers to the rooms so we can formally start." Yes every room has a computer that we need to link to. We don't use projectors or boards, we use webs. We need to sign in to take attendance and because it's just the first day the professor needs to see the our names and bios. The computer will automatically register our ids to her records once we link to the room. Nice eh?
By the way once you register, you will also be given the professors name, his or her subject, and the things you'll need and discuss thru out the semester. It just looks like a bio-data including their picture. The professor gets the same, except the things they'll see are your age, sex, the course you're taking and the likes.
I will definitely register in this subject, not just because I'm fond of it, but the teacher captures my attention. I connect my laptop on that of the room and wait for her bio to appear on mine. My computer was linked and I quickly browse for her picture I can't clearly see her face from where I'm seated.
Her picture appeared with the info's on her subject. She's really young, and I don't know why, but I think she enchants me and everyone in this room. Casting spells on all her students, I look around and could see the guys lusting on her picture on their laptops, and girls give envious stares. I'm one of the guys so I'll also do the lusting. The picture didn't help stop us; they put a whole body picture of her in it, wearing a white button up blouse with the top two unbutton, showing her chest fair skin. An above the knee pencil cut skirt, damn those legs. Yes we'll be a full pledge perverts in this subject. She's really hot, but not the cheap kind of hot, she's elegant, classic hot.
She continues talking about the things we would discuss throughout this sem. And we continue looking at her; mind you we just look at her. I personally can't really get what she's talking because I'm so focus on every movement she makes.
I think she knows this that we aren't listening and just keep on sizing her. It's evident that she's feeling uncomfortable with the way we stare at her. I really think she's fragile. I wonder if this is her first time teaching.
I look at my watch, and see that we only got a minute more before this session ends.
After awhile the bell rings, formally ending my first subject.
I stand up and gather my things again, detaching my laptop to the cords and putting it again in my bag. I started walking down, and see that the professor is sitting on a chair and looking at the rooms' main computer. I stare at her and stop walking. Standing in front of the podium trying to get better look at her face, her picture didn't give her face a justice. Even half of her beauty isn't captured in that photo.
She moves up her head and saw me staring at her. "Uhmm, do you need any help?"
I don't really believe in love at first sight but this feeling she's giving me makes me think otherwise. I think I'm gonna melt with the way she looks at me. She tilted her head as she observes me. I blush. Her face gives out a puzzled look, that's when I realize that, I'm still looking at her dumbstruck. I'm such an idiot. I gave her a smile, "No, sorry. I was just wondering if you had your breakfast this morning Ms. Lay."
She was taken aback by my reply. She must be wondering why I'm asking her about food. I walk up the podium and placed my wrap up meal on her table. "Here Ms. Lay." I turn around and walk out of the room. Urgh, what am I doing? Damn this day is weird.
