Lays POV
The night after I agree to try going out with Rayne my mom gave me a call, telling she wants me to meet some guy they knew from a conference they attended. Telling he's a sensible man that could tolerate me, being so impractical and too idealistic. Saying that I should live in reality that the prince on the books I'm so engulf to read is just fantasy. I'm thinking of telling her about Ray but I think that would give us more argument than what we have.
My mind is filled with what happened. Should I really go out with Ray? I can't change the fact that I feel something for her, and her giving the effort to do those sweet things for me, even carrying this big bear I'm cuddling on my bed, she really gives me those butterflies on my tummy with her stare, and that tingling feeling on my nerves when she's near me, or she's done some sweet things for me. I really like the attention she's giving to me. But.... Me, being with her will add conflict to my already bad position with my family.
I receive a message from her telling me that she's home and resting, but I didn't reply, I agreed to my mother to go out with that guy. I don't want to hurt Ray or anything but I can't say no to my mom. She did agree to keep it a secret so I think we can still be fine. I know I'll be unfair to her but I'm still not sure if we can really be together.

"Wish I could tell you goodbye,
But I won't, cause every time that I try
I can't let Wish I could tell you goodbye,
But I won't, cause every time that I try
I can't let go,...."
"Hello?" I answer my phone before Lewis get to tells me to unlove her.
"Ready yet?" Ray asks without even saying any greeting.
"Good morning to you too Ray, and nope I just got out of the shower your too early." I told her.
"I was hoping to eat some breakfast with you before going to school. If we still have time..." I could picture her fidgeting while standing and looking at me with her pleading eyes.
"Where are you?" I ask againerasing her cute face on my mind.
"Uhmmm.. Outside your condo, could you open the door?" She's really something; she could have used the door bell rather than calling me on the phone.
I just walk to my door and unlock it. And again she's standing on the other side of it with her hands full.
"You should have knock or push the bell rather than calling me." I told her.
She gives me one of the coffee cups. It's still hot. "Come inside, let's have some breakfast." I told her. She comes in and I walk to the kitchen, but as soon as the door was close she holds me from the back. She's so close to me, I can feel her breath on my neck, and almost hear her drumming heartbeat.
"You're beautiful Lay, thank you for giving me a chance to be with you," She whisper on my ear, sending shivers on my neck. I really like her she's the first person to make me feel like this. Special and wanted, so why did I say yes to my mom?
"Ray we'll be late if we don't start eating, and our coffees will get cold." I told her.
She removes her hand from me and walk in front of me. "Is there something wrong? Are you changing your mind?"
"No Ray." I'm not I think.
"Then what's wrong? You didn't even reply last night, and now you're being cold. What happened?" She asks.
"Nothing. Let's just eat." I walk to the dinning and set the things she brought for us.
She looks at me and stares at my eyes. "I didn't know that you have a mismatch eye colour. Do you use contacts at school because I thought they are blue?" She stays staring at my eyes.
