Harry was, for a lack of better words, paralyzed. As he watched Louis retreat up the stairs, he wanted to call out for him, but the words never left his lips. He didn't know what he had done wrong to get Louis angry in the first place. Maybe he was too forward? No, that couldn't have been it.

"Harry? You okay, mate?" He looked over at Perrie, who must have seen him zoning out,

"I," Harry began. He threw his arms out to his sides helplessly, "I don't know what I did. One minute he's fine and we go out to get some more beer. Then we get home and he's mad at me! If I understood then I could help out," he rambled in one breath. Perrie just blinked, utterly confused. Harry mentally slapped himself, "Ugh! And you don't even know what I'm on about. This is so embarassing," Harry sharply gasped at the end of his phrase and snapped his finger. "That's it, Perrie!"

"Uh, what's what?" Perrie, still lost in what was happening, asked slowly. Poor girl, Harry thought empathetically to himself. He grabbed the blonde by her shoulders and shook her slightly,

"He's upset because he's embarassed! Of course, Perrie! When we-"

"Okay! Before ye say anything else," The girl ordered, "Stop shakin' me," Harry muttered an apology and set her down gently. She nodded politely and smiled, "Go on,"

"Oh yeah! Anyways, like I was saying, when we were at the gas station, they had run out of the beer that we wanted and Zayn got really pissed, right? So then..."

Harry finished recapping the story up until present time and Perrie just nodded, processing the information. Bless this girl, Harry thought, she handles so much. I need to get her a cookie later. Yes, a cookie. That'll do.

"So, lem'me get this straight," she looked at Harry and swirled her finger around her hair, probably a thinking habit, "You think he's embarassed 'cause of your behaviour at the gas station?" Harry nodded frantically. Perrie hummed in disapproval,

"What?" he groaned. Perrie scrunched her nose and shook her head,

"I don't think that's it, Haz. I think it's something a little bit deeper than this. You need to think back a little farther. Then talk to 'im about it," she declared. Harry sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose.

"I'm gonna go talk to him now I guess. I'd like to know what's bothering him. I want to see him happy for our last day here, not sad or angry," Harry looked up when there was no response, adn saw Perrie with a soft and fond look on her face. She smiled and ruffled his curly locks adoringly,

"He's lucky to have a friend like you, Harry. Go get him, he seems like a nice lad, and if you ask me," she winked,

"You two would be good for each other, from what I've seen this weekend. Good luck!" And just like that, she was back outside, socializing. Harry smiled with newfound confidence and waltzed upstairs. But as he got closer to his and Louis' shared room, Harry felt the nervous butterflies in his stomach having some sort of rave party again, and he didn't even know why. By the time he was in front of the door, his hand was shaking and he was having second thoughts. Harry shook his head and huffed because no, he wasn't going back downstairs. He would beat himself up over it if he did.
