CHAPTER 6: Need You Now (Lady Antebellum)

***NOTES: Hi again! I'm dedicating this chapter to my first follower!! YAY!! You know who you are, love! Alright well this chapter was very emotional for me to write because of some of the things I'm going through right now. I hope you guys like it. And I know I say this every time but please comment, it's honestly my favorite part! Oh! By the way! Guess what? We're finally going to the lakehouse next chapter! WOOOHOOOO I'm so excited! I hope that things will brighten up (or heat up hehehe wow i have a dirty mind) for LouLou! Once again, hope you all like it and thanks for reading!***

“Put me down you bastard! Let me go!” I pounded against Drake's back and tried to wriggle myself from his tight grasp on me.

“Wow, I'm so glad that I found you! Do you know how many people that I had to ask in order to find you? Thirteen! Crazy, I know! There was this one lady...” and he kept talking like he was just casually in conversation, ignoring Louis' protests. He was acting like Louis was just playing a game with him! Did he honestly think this was a joke?

“Are you completely mental?” Louis asked incredulously. Drake only laughed while opened up his car door, throwing the dance teacher in the passenger's seat at that moment. As Drake got in on the other side, Louis tried frantically to unbuckle his seat belt. Once it released, he was about to fling open the door and make a run for it, but a large hand gripped his bicep tightly. Louis turned and saw Drake glaring daggers at him,

“Alright Louis, I had fun with your game, but we'll play another round some other time,” he said in a cold, sarcastic tone. Louis looked around the car for anything useful and spotted a hot cup of coffee that Drake must have gotten on his way to find him. Louis felt spark of bravery rise up in him at that moment, and he utilized it.

“No more rounds,” he said quietly. Drake looked confused, yet satisfied with the answer as his grip loosened on Louis' arm. Then, “You wanna know why?” Louis asked lowly. Drake turned his head, acknowledging him.

“Why?” he asked suspiciously.

Louis chuckled deviously, “because,” he began, angling his leg in front of the coffee, “You lost,” Drake raised an eyebrow,

“Wha-”

“Game over,” Louis shrugged innocently before kicking the steaming cup onto Drake's lap. As Drake screamed at the scalding pain on his arm, Louis bolted out of the car door and ran back out into the parking lot. As he was running, Louis' mind caught up with his body. Oh God, what have I just done? He now realized the huge mistake he had just made. Even if Drake's arm was in pain, he could still run twice as fast as Louis ever could. He would catch him soon enough and probably get the beating of a lifetime because of his defiance. Shit.

Fear bubbled up inside of his abdomen as he sprinted, tears forming in the corners of his eyes. Louis saw his car and changed direction. Louis got to his car and unlocked it. He looked back only for a brief second and saw Drake hurdling toward him in his peripherals.

It only took the blink of an eye for Louis to be heading out of the parking lot. As he was just turning onto the road, his phone began to ring. The first time he ignored it. It was probably Drake anyways. Louis looked at it the second time and saw Harry's name lighting up his screen and he answered it with a groggy, “Hello?”

“Oh my God! Lou are you okay?” Louis almost dropped the phone. He didn't see any of that did he? He tried to play it off, just in case it was something else entirely. He hoped so.

“W-what are you talking about, mate?” he tried to laugh, but it trailed off at the end. Harry was practically hyperventilating on the other end. “Uh...are you okay?” he asked concernedly.
