The next morning Alex yawned, stretched and slowly opened her eyes. She stared up at the ceiling when a puzzled look came across her face. She wasn't looking at the wight ceiling of her bedroom, she was stareing at at the colorfully painted ceiling of Repunzle's tower. She shot upright from her place on the floor next to Repunzle's bed, looking around frantically. She let out a little yelp unsure of what was happening.
Repunzle woke up from Alex's yelp and looked at her worriedly saying, "Alex what's wrong? Are you OK?
"It's not a dream..." Alex said more to herself than Repunzle.
"What?" Repunzle raised an eyebrow.
Alex turned around and looked at Repunzle, "I thought this was a dream." she said, "But I'm still here."
"It's not a dream Alex this is real." Repunzle reasured her. It took some more reasurence from Repunzle, but Alex finally believed this was not a dream.
"Oh my goodness!" Alex exclaimed.
"What?" Repunzle questioned.
"I'm gonna be in so much trouble when I get home! I gotta go tell them where I am."
"Well I'll call Jack, maybe make a portal for you back to your house."
"Punzie!" They heard a voice yell from outside the tower.
"Oh, that's Merrida!" Repunzle exclaimed as she ran out of the room and over to the window with Alex following.
"Come on up Merrida." Repunzle yelled out the window.
"Ya, how am I supposed to do that?" Merrida questioned.
"Remember the staircase I showed you on the other side of the tower?"
"Oh ya." Merrida replied running out of their line of vision to the other side of the tower. A few moments later a panel on the floor opened and red curly hair popped through the opening followed by Merrida herself.
"Here are the clothes Punzie told me to bring ye." Merrida held ot a bag for Alex to take. She took the bag and opened it up to look at it's contents. Inside was a pair of brown boots, black pants, and a red shirt.
"You can go change in my room." Repunzle offered.
"OK." Alex replied dashing into the room and shutting the door. She quickly changed out of the borrowed pajamas and into the clothes Merrida had brought for her. She slipped on the boots, opened the door, and walked out of the room to see that that Jack and Hiccup had also arrived.
"Punzie told me that you need to tell your parents where you are so..." Jack grabbed a snow globe from his pocket, whispered something into it, then threw it out in front of them. Suddenly a portal burst open before their eyes. Alex's eyes widened in surprise. Jack smirked at her reaction and walked through the portal followed by Merrida and Repunzle.
Hiccup motioned for Alex to go first. She hesitated but when she did go to walk through she rammed into what felt like a glass wall. She backed away from the portal rubbing her head from the collision and confusion.
"What just happened?" questioned Hiccup.
"I...I don't know." Alex replied. She reached out her hand to stick it through the portal but it was stopped by something, but neither her nor Hiccup could figure out what it was.
Just then Merrida popped her head through the portal questioning, "What's taking ye two so long?"
"I can't get through." Alex answered.
"Through what? The portal."
"Yep." Hiccup replied.
Merrida was now fully standing in Repunzles tower. Jack and Repunzle also walked through the portal with Repunzle questioning, "What's wrong?"
"Alex can't get through the portal." Merrida answered. The portal then shut.
"Hmmmm..." Jack said, "Try to go through this one." He made another portal. Alex sighed and attemted to walk through, and surprisingly succeaded.
