"Yeah, okay, I'll call you later." I said, smiling as I ended the call, flopping onto my bed and sighing, reaching over and playing some music on my phone. Architect by Myrne played and I hummed along to the catchy tune. I lay down, shoving my face into a pillow, exhausted. School was awful. I yawned, and after rolling in bed for about forty five minutes I finally got up, changing into some more comfortable clothes.
I stretched, yawning before jumping right back into bed, trying to fall asleep. After about an hour, it was clear that I was not sleeping. I sighed, getting up and walking downstairs, heating up some food in the microwave, plugging in my one of my earbuds, turning on East Of Eden by Zella Day and humming along. I added some pep to my step, grabbing a soda from the fridge. I danced around a bit, doing some moves as I moved around the kitchen. The microwave dinged and I got the food out, Never Be Like You was playing and I was basically dancing like an idiot. "CAUSE I GOT IIITTT!" I yelled out, singing, laughing a bit at myself. I sighed, crashing onto the couch and grabbing the remote, turning my phone off and trading it's screen for my TV'S. I surfed through a few channels before landing on Disney Channel, stopping and deciding to watch. Jessie was on, and I loved that show. It was still relatively new, but it was funny. I snuggled up, covering myself with a blanket and popping food into my mouth and sipping my drink. Zuri WHAT?! Luke, what an asshole. Ravi, of course he snitched. After a while, I decided I was done, turning off the TV and sighing, getting up again. I walked around the house, looking at it as I did. Pictures of my family and I lined the walls. Me smiling as a little kid, my dad giving me a piggyback ride. I chuckled a bit. I looked to the photo to the right, my mom boosting me up so that I could reach the highest apple on a tree. I giggled a bit, smiling, a warm feeling inside of my chest. Little did I know there wouldn't be any more boosting or laughing for a long time.

Hi guys! So this chapter was kind of a filler, just a little quick written piece that I'll most likely unpublish later 😝. So as you can tell I'm trying to flesh out the characters a bit more so the next few chapters may be more exposition and less actiony. Not sure if anyone's even reading this 😂😂😂 but this story has a good amount of views for a first time and I'm proud of it so thanks ☺️
Anyway, I'm brainstorming ideas and more plot points so stayed tuned! Hope you're enjoying this!
