Hazel's POV:

~Time Jump - Day of the Wedding ~

After weeks and weeks of planning it was finally Harvey and Hannah's wedding day. Bella and Kevin stayed the night, so we all could go together. Bella and I offered to stay over at Hannah's to help get her ready, but she said no. She wanted her sister and mother to help her, which I thought was sweet. "You look beautiful Bella." I said as we got ready. I hate wearing dresses, but I knew I better dress up....that and Harvey said I had to. Bella was wearing a dark blue dress that brought out her eyes. She was wearing blue high heals as well. I was wearing a comfortable black dress with black flats. I never understand why women where high heels, and I'm a woman! "Thanks, you look beautiful yourself." She replied with a smile. "We better get downstairs, the boys are probably waiting for us." I said, which made her laugh. We walked downstairs and found them standing by the doorway waiting. "Wow, you look two look beautiful." Alan said as he looked at us. "Thanks." Bella and I said at the same time with a smile. "Come here." Alan said as he pulled me close. He kissed me gently on the lips, which made me blush. "You two are so cute!" Bella said smiling brightly. I giggled, and blushed even more if it was possible. "I'm a very lucky man." Alan said with warmth and affection in his golden brown eyes. "And I'm a very lucky woman." I replied. "We better get going love birds." Kevin said with a slight laugh. He and Alan looked handsome; they were both wearing suits, but their ties were different. Alan was wearing a black tie while Kevin had a red one. I bed Kevin will attract a lot of the girls at the wedding, and Bella will attract a lot of the guys. 'Maybe they'll finally find themselves a significant other.' I thought as we got in the car. Kevin and Alan sat up front while Bella and I sat in the back. I was so excited to see the place this morning. Even though we stayed up half the night decorating, things look different the next day. I needed to see Harvey before the wedding, because I know he's probably freaking out by now. He was practically a mess last night. When we got there Bella, Kevin, and Alan got our seats while I went to find Harvey. "Hey, you feeling okay?" I asked when I walked into his changing room. He was all dressed up, and he looked dashing in his suit and tie. "I'm better than I was last night. I'm a little nervous, but I'm alright." He said with a slight laugh. "I just thought I'd stop in and check on you. I'll go and get in my seat before someone takes it." I said. "Thanks for all your help Hazel. You're a great friend." He said as he gave me a hug. "You're welcome Harvey, it's the least I could do for you. You've helped me a lot in life as well, I just wanted to repay you." I said with a smile. "You don't have to repay me. You're like the daughter I never had, and I'll do anything for you." He said with a smile. "I want to, and your like a second father to me." I replied. He hugged me one more time before I headed back out where people were flooding in. "There you are, we thought you might have gotten lost in the crowd of people." Kevin said as I sat down by Alan. "I almost did." I said with a slight laugh. I was surprised at how many people Hannah invited, but she did say she wanted a big wedding. By the time it was all over half of the people were crying and sniffling, except for us. I never cry at weddings, I never really cry unless I'm stressed out. "This is a beautiful wedding." I heard someone whisper as we moved to the dinning area. "Did you hear how many people admired the decorations?" Bella asked us curiously. "I know, I'm glad everyone likes it. We worked hard to get all of this finished." Kevin said. After we ate the best man did his speech, which was full of funny stories about Harvey. Then it was time to cut the cake. Hannah and Harvey looked so much in love and so happy with each other. I'm actually glad they met even though I was kinda sceptical at first. "Hey, thanks for everything you guys have done. Everyone keeps saying how much they love the decorations, the flowers, and the food." Hannah said when she walked up to our table. "Hazel's the one who hired everyone." Bella said smiling. "Don't give me all the credit, everyone contributed to this equally. I'm just glad it turned out as lovely as it did." I said. We talked with them for a while before they went and tackled to some of their other friends. We didn't get to go home until ten o'clock, but it was worth it. At least now we could all breath and not feel as stressed since it was over. "Hazel, I have a surprise for you." Alan said when I walked in the bedroom from the bathroom. "A surprise?" I asked curiously. "I may not be ready for marriage just yet, but I still wanna show you how much you mean to me." He said sweetly. "Alan, it doesn't matter if we get married. We love each other, and that's all that matters." I said, which made him smile. "I picked out these promise rings about a week ago." He said as he opened a purple velvet box. There was a silver ring sitting in the center with the word Always engraved in it. "Alan, it's beautiful." I said as he put it on my ring finger. He put one on as well, that matched mine. "On the inside it has our names engraved as well." He said with a smile. "I love it." I said before we kissed. "I love you Hazel. Forever and always." He said softly. "I love you too Alan. Forever and always." I replied softly. We shut the lights off and I drifted into a deep sleep with Alan's arms around me. I really am the luckiest girl in the world.
