Ryan's p.o.v:
I knew this day would come. He's been asking about his mother for years now. I always made up lies about her. He already knows she's back, but she doesn't know who it is. A mother and child's bond is close, and Pandorian children are no different. They can sense who their mother is, but the older you get the weaker it gets. I hoped that he would forget about it, but I was wrong.
As I sat at my desk, I looked at the purple book sitting in front of me. The cover was started to fall apart. I pick it up, and examine the faded rose on the front. I open the book, and see the fresh ink. I read it, and an idea starts to form within my head. I take out my pen, and flip to an empty page.
Before I begin to write, my son comes through the door. He sees the book, and I close the cover. He goes to snatch it, and I pull out my dagger. I stab his hand and he pulls back. Purple leaks from the small cut. As my eyes begin to glow, I say in a low voice "Do. Not. Touch. This. Book. Ever." I walk around him and walk out of my office. I never want him to see this book. Even if it means burning it.
