Mari's p.o.v:
The next day, I went to the castle. I was tired of him watching me, and I knew he was behind what had happened. The guards escorted me to his meeting room. I sat down, and he stared at me. " Ryan, look, I want you to stop watching what I do. I'm not going to fulfill the destiny. I would pierce my own heart before doing that." He smirks, and says " I want her, not you. I've given up on you. You are too strong. You would kill me on our wedding night." I look at him in shock." Who?" " The girl you were with last night, and kissed. She seems special to you." I stare at him with anger. " You cant have Rose!" I stand up and he looks down.
" I gave you this kingdom Ryan! I thought you would do a better job then I would. It's what my mother wanted! Just think, without me, you and your ungrateful mother would be still out on the street." I look over and I hear him stand up. He comes up to me and hugs me.
" It's not my idea, it's my moms. She wants Rose to rule. But, she also wants you dead. She as something planned, and Mari, I'm sorry. Everything wrong that has happened has been her doing. She drafted you into the war. She-"
He stops talking, and he just froze up. He then pushed me into the table. " Listen Mari, I won't play nice anymore. 2 weeks you have to train, then you're death will be certain."After all these years, I finally figured it out.
