Her heart lifted when she saw Owen. Then dropped dead when she heard her father yelling. Haylee woke up. Her heart pounding in her chest. "Am I in trouble?" She asked herself, too scared to go find out. She tried to sit up, but she couldn't. Her legs and arms hurt too much. She felt pain stab into her chest. She tried to scream, but it was only then she realized that there was a gag in her mouth. Her throat felt numb, her whole body felt numb. "What is happening? What do I do?" She thought to herself. Tears started streaming down her face.
