I brought these for us to use instead." Maria said, tossing each of them a walkie-talkie. "I've set-up a private channel for us to talk on where no-one else can hear us." Maria said casually. "alright, now then, lets go out and kick your dad's butt,maria!" kyo said enthusiastically. "'Dad'? ugh! Kyo you know i can hardly call him that now." maria said, a bad taste in her mouth as she said the word, dad. "wha? Maria, I read your family report file and Cass is not your father!" Alix exclaimed, surprised. "Not her legal family, alix. her biological family."kyo said surprised. "Oh. So Cass is your biological father. And you say you don't feel any kinship to the man?" Alix asked maria. "One, Alix, he didn't play THAT big of a part in my life, two, if not playing a big role in my life and hurting people for no reason isn't enough reason to not feel a kinship to someone. I don't see what is enough." maria said pointedly
