Hope you like.

Once you had gotten inside your house, Rachelle noticed how strangely early you arrived and peeked outside to see Vincent drive away.

She got so mad, you both argued for hours.

"How dare you call him to pick you up!? Who do you think you are!?"

"I didn't! He offered!! Actually he told me-"

The front door opened.

Your parents were chatting happily over their day at work today until they saw what was going on.

Mr.Payne frowned. "What is going on here?"

"Dad!" Rachelle shouted. "You can't believe WHAT (Y/N) did!"

Your mother sighed. "Settle down Rach."

"I didn't do anything!!" You quickly replied.

"Don't worry, calm down." Your father said.

Rachelle pointed her index finger towards you. "(Y/N) selfishly asked Vincent who is still hurt by that heavy car accident to pick her up from school and drive her here. Giving him a burden just to not walk!"

Mrs. Payne looked at you surprised. "(Y/N) is that true?"

"No it's not!" You defended. "He told me...He offered to drive me home. I didn't contact him whatsoever! He just appeared outside of school!"

"And who gave him the address?" Asked Rachelle in the most sarcastic tone she could muster.

Your parents looked at you.

"It wasn't me! He told me you gave it to him!"

"Selfish AND a liar! Great combo!"

"Both of you be quiet!" Ordered your father. He looked at Rachelle. "Respect (Y/N)!" She crossed her arms and scoffed. He then looked at you, sighing. "I don't understand this miscommunication with that young man, but I'll believe you're not lying to me. In any case he still did us a favor. We should repay him somehow."

"Well..." Your mother thought. "Tomorrow's Friday...maybe do something together in the weekend?"

"Oh!" Rachelle exclaimed. "Yeah let's go somewhere! I haven't seen him in so long!"

Soon they both started thinking and planning for the weekend. Your father listening and giving his opinion.

You rolled your eyes and headed upstairs to your room, not interested at all in the conversation. Setting your backpack next to the bed, you sat down and spent time studying. Sometimes your mind would retrace back to Vincent's behavior.

Your phone went off.

Incoming call.

Vincent

He's calling you now!?

You purposely dropped the cellphone on your bed, not having any desire in answering. Then you got up, deciding a good hot shower would be nice.

After your shower and eating dinner with the family, plus also having helped with the dishes, you entered your room once again. It's already dark out, everyone's getting ready for bed.

You picked up your cellphone and switched it on.

40 missed calls.

This guy is so-

Incoming call.

Vincent

You squinted your eyes and swiped to answer.

"(Y/N)?"

"...Hello Vincent."

He chuckled. "Finally I could get a hold of you. Definitely need to buy you a new phone-"

"Don't worry. My cellphone is fine."

"...jejeje...I don't think so...cause the only other reason I wouldn't be able to contact you is because...I doubt-"

"I'd be ignoring you?"

You couldn't hear anything, until a release of heavy breath. "...yeah...it better not be that."

Your eyes slightly widened. His tone changed...deeper...menacing...

"(Y/N)." You snapped back to reality. He intimidatingly chuckled. "I'm getting worried of your attitude towards me. I don't like it."

"I don't think my attitude is the problem here..."

"No baby no...you're right, it's not your fault."

You froze.

"It's everyone else right? Their getting in our way?"

"...Our way? Vincent, what are you-"

"I got you something."

You sighed. "Vincent, listen to me-"

Suddenly, the doorbell rang.

The chime echoing inside the dark and silent house.

You slowly peeked out of your room, to see downstairs. The living room didn't have much visibility, but you could hint out the form of a box placed perfectly on the floor, next to the door. "When did you!?"

Laughter ringed in your ear. "Go on, take it. Don't be scared."

Mom, Dad and Rachelle are here. He wouldn't try anything funny...right?

You scanned downstairs once more. Reassured, you proceeded down the stairs carefully.

"You know, your mom called me a while ago."

"Oh did she now..."

"Yeah. She planned for this weekend."

Finally reaching the wrapped box, you picked it up cautiously.

"And I love the idea."

You opened the gift.

"...Pajamas?..."

You looked up, dropping the box

You looked up, dropping the box.

What did Mom and Rachelle do?

Approaching the window, you gently pushed aside the curtain.

Vincent was parked in front of the house.

Your eyes widened as you noticed him with his cellphone. He slowly turned his head towards your direction. Eyes piercing through the glass in front of you.

"I can't wait for tomorrow."

Call ended.
