“You’re so lucky to have a heart donor, Dominique” the doctor said. “Thanks, but my girlfriend was the one who found a donor” Dominique answered. The doctor’s smile fades away. “Yeah, that’s what she did” the doctor answered. “Why? What’s wrong?” he asked. “Nothing, it’s just that I’m happy for you” the doctor said.
As the doctor walks away he whispered “Poor guy”…
This is the day when Dominique is going to undergo a heart transplant operation. He was excited yet nervous at the same time. “Hey, don’t worry you’ll be fine” I said to cheer him up. “Thanks Claire, you’re always there for me and I don’t know how to repay you” he answered. “You don’t have to repay me, I love you” I said. “I love you too, Claire. Don’t worry after the operation I will marry you” he answered. Then I smiled at him.
While they were taking him to the operation room
“Always remember I love you bye” I whispered
I know that everything’s gonna be okay hopefully and after the operation we will be happy.
