That night, after my awkward encounter with Luca and his friends, I thought really hard about my feelings. I wanted to confirm that I didn't like him so I wouldn't get hurt later on.
But the bad thing was, I couldn't stop thinking about the way he talked to me. The way he smiled at me and invited to come and stand with him.
Yes, I know, I'm just a teenage girl on the hunt for her wattpad romance, but all I really want is for someone to care. I crave the touch, the sensations, the feelings of love. To have someone to rely on and trust.
That's all I want, is someone who can turn down all the other girls and go for me. The problem was, I wasn't sure if Luca could do that. I'm not even sure if he knows what a commitment is!
None the less, I had to face the facts... I liked Luca Spear.

Science class was approaching quickly as I leaned against my locker, listening to Gracie ramble about some internet friend again.
"And then, he told me that I lied! Isn't that crazy?! He lied too, so many times, and all I did was love h-"
"Gracie, I gotta go," I blurted, cutting off her ongoing rant. It was rude to leave her hanging, but Luca was all that was consuming my mind at the moment.
As I entered the science lab, the only person in their seat was Luca. Of course, the irony is so real! I sat down, awkwardly slipping my books and binders onto the table. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see him watching my every move.
His eyes followed my hands and quickly glanced up at my face. Feeling weird already, I bit my lip to keep from laughing. He looked away, scribbling something onto a sketch pad.
He draws? That got my mind flowing, maybe everyone didn't know everything about Luca Spear. Does that mean his whole popularity is just a show, one act in his made up life?
I may be getting a little ahead of myself, but maybe we really could work. Maybe I could really be with Luca Spear.
He seemed so genuine and good-hearted, only to me. When he talks to other girls, he brags and flirts. With me, he listens and laughs.
"Uh, Ash, can I borrow a pen?" He asked, looking up at me with his gleaming gray eyes.
"Yeah, here," I responded, grabbing a pink gel pen from my book. He groaned, making me laugh.
"It's not funny, you jerk!" He commented, but soon began to laugh with me. We laughed together, all the way until the bell rang.
"Alright class, today we will be taking notes!" Mr. Theodore told the class, and sighs filled the room. Another hour of hell as we know it.

After school, I grabbed my binders from my locker before going to my aunts car. Since my cousin Lory and I go to the same school, my aunt Luna drives us home everyday.
"Hey Ashlynn, how was your day? Lory, get in the back of the damn car!" My aunt yelled to my cousin.
"Good, all except more stupid notes in science," I said.
"Well, glad it was mostly oka-"
"BRENT, STOP HITTING ME!" Lory screamed at her little brother.
"Lory Marie, do NOT talk like that!" My aunt yelled to the backseat. "I mean it!"
But Lory didn't listen, she never does. I couldn't wait til I got home, to sit in the silence of my own room. Maybe even snoop more on Luca's Instagram page.
"Have a good night, honey," my aunt said, sighing at her still screaming kids. I nodded, waving sympathetically to her. We both laughed when she made I dead face, her van quickly leaving my driveway.
When I got into the house, I threw my bag next to our cluttered doorway and sat down at our kitchen table. I didn't take long before I was on my laptop, surfing safari for the perfect website.
After what seemed like hours, I was finally on Luca's page.

Wow, way to be a basic white boy! Why really surprised me is the fact he was single, because usually he was always bragging about some bitchy girl he's taking advantage of.
