The Canarrowverse : Chapter 7

For the past ten minutes Roy had been scrolling through pictures of him and Thea, remembering all the pleasant memories he had with her. It pained him that she didn't want to come back here when she had so much here but Roy knew that he had to respect her decision and carry on without her. Suddenly, an unexpected guest came down the stairs. "Oliver?" The person called out. Roy stood and turned his head to find Laurel, rushing down the stairs. "Laurel? What are you doing here?" Roy asked in confusion. Roy had thought it was Felicity or Diggle but to find Laurel here was unusual."I need to speak to Oliver about someone very dangerous." Laurel said with a worrying look on her face...

Oliver sat down, looking at his mouth-watering lunch,starting to dig in. But as soon as he touched his pancakes he saw someone getting robbed across the street. He knew he had to intervene. He stepped out onto the street, starting to run towards the criminal. As soon as the criminal saw him, he started to run, a stolen purse in his hand, as he jumped over a fence. Oliver made it over easily and closed the distance between them, putting them face to face in an alley. "You made a big mistake Queen, think you can play hero?" He said in an overconfident way. "Think you can steal something from someone and get away with it?" He returned, balling his fists.

Oliver then saw the man whip out a knife which made him realise he had to think carefully about what he did. He had to make it that the fight was 'winnable' or he could just throw something at his head to put him in disarray and incapacitate him. But Oliver didn't need to do anything as a mysterious figure came up behind him and knocked the knife out of his hand. Oliver rushed forward, readying a knockout punch as the mysterious figure stepped back out of the way. Oliver's fist collided with the man's face, sending him flying backwards onto the cold ground. "Nice punch." the figure said making Oliver realise who it was instantly.
