"Laurel?" Oliver questioned. "Yes Ollie, don't look so surprised that I know how to do that." Laurel said, noticing his stunned look. He had to admit that he didn't think that she could be able to disarm him and fend him off but Laurel was tougher than she looked. "So, I'm guessing you came here for a reason." Oliver is said, picking up the purse and motioning for Laurel to follow. "There's someone dangerous loose and I need you to catch him." Laurel said. "His name is Joseph Cray, I need you to get a confession from him concerning the hostage situation." Laurel said as Oliver turned around. "Laurel, I don't have time for this. Roy can handle it." Oliver said in a strained voice. He had to focus on the company more now as he was CEO. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to hand this back, finish my lunch, and head to the company." He said as he started to turn away. "Wait. Oliver, are you okay?" Laurel asked. He hated that question. "My mother is gone, half the city is destroyed, crime is rising, Slade Wilson got in my head, and Sara left... Do you think I'm okay?" Oliver said as he then turned again but this time he heard nothing after.

Laurel walked back down the stairs to the foundry to find everyone except Oliver. "Hey Laurel, how'd it go with Oliver?" Roy asked. "He said to give the matter to you, so here's everything I have on Joseph Cray. I need a confession from him about the hostage situation." Laurel said as she tossed them her folder. Roy inspected it to find a place and time where he would strike. "Alright, you should have it in a day or two." Roy said as he put the folder aside.

[Just bare in mind it's an AU where Laurel did call the cops on Sara but didn't get with Oliver so Sara started dating him but later on.]

Oliver found being in the office quite relaxing as he immersed himself in his work. A lot of paperwork was stacked up for him as he missed a day or two but he was just getting back into the swing of things. Suddenly, his phone rang, and as soon as he saw the number he dropped what he was doing and picked the phone. "Hey Sara." Oliver said, a smile forming on his face. He loved Sara even before the island and the gambit. They had gotten together three months after Laurel called the cops on her. "Hey Ollie." Sara replied in a happy mood. The two always felt comfort and warmth near each other and to be separated left the two broken, especially since everything that happened. "I heard you're still CEO. Congratulations." Sara said in a voice, disguising her sadness. But Oliver knew Sara better than anyone else and he knew what she was thinking and he knew what she was feeling. It was the same for Sara as well. "Sara... Is everything okay?" Oliver asked, concerned. Sara hated that question as well but for once she needed someone to ask that. "I'm just feeling lonely without everyone, especially you. There's not much going on." Sara said. It pained Oliver to hear Sara in this state but there was nothing he could do... But that didn't mean that they couldn't chat to each other.
