Virizion's mouth dropped open. "You must be kidding me. No way would I ever want to do that! I'll get myself killed! KILLED I tell you!!" Her voice rose from her normal tone to a full on scream. Her breathing quickened as she started hyperventilating.
"Relax. I did it, and I lived to tell the tale." The one beside her rolled his eyes, the crimson orbs had caught her attention the first time she had met him, while her own, bright turquoise ones caught his.
"E-even so... There is no possible way that I can survive... that." She pointed one finger towards the large Pokemon splashing water at the woods, it's expression almost amused, but you can never tell with an Gyarados.
Red smirked playfully and shoved the female, earning himself a squeal as she caught herself, before tripping and falling into the water. Her arms waved wildly for a few moments before she screamed at him.
"Red! I-I can't swim!" She sank beneath the water before kicking wildly. Red just looked at her.
"The water is really... Shallow... Vi?" He blinked as she pulled herself up on the land, coughing.
"You i-idiot..." She coughed up water. "I don't like the water..." The girl had both arms wrapped around her stomach.
"How come you never told me in the year that we traveled together?" He questioned, turning his gaze onto the girl with utter disbelief. He bent over quickly, his eyes wide with concern. "Was it really that much of a secret?"
"W-well... N-no..." She stuttered, quietly. "I-I mean... I never thought that it was worth telling. I never thought of being in the water anytime soon, so it wasn't necessary to tell." Virizion felt the urge to punch him in the face. He should have warned her!
Instead, he had pulled her into a hug, "You know, I always wanted a younger sister with a super cool ability of... not knowing how to swim..." The trainer mumbled, keeping his head close to her ear as he whispered that piece of news to the stiff girl. He pulled them into the water, knowing it was shallow enough that she won't sink.
"You won't leave me, right....?" He mumbled and rested his chin against the top of her head. Red seemed really concerned...
"Course I won't." She slowly wrapped her arms around him, her eyes closing, she felt... safe with him. Safe with this wonderful person who had been so kind to her that day around one year ago. "If I do, you'll go flirting with every girl you see!" The water wasn't that bad...
He pulled away quickly. "What do you mean by that? I don't flirt with every girl I see!" His cheeks quickly matched the color of his eyes and his name. Red. He was blushing hard.
"Yes, you do." She countered, her eyes filled with the humor she didn't want to express. "You have a really weird sense of taste too. Having freaks like me travel with you, caring for everyone you see and talking to everyone as if you knew them already. Though I can't say that I mind the last two."
"Whatever." He frowned as he turned around, his excitement spiking again. "Hey, now....."
He waved a hand to call Gyarados over, and his Pokemon obeyed, diving under the water and resurfacing right underneath the pair, catching them both on his head. Genevieve screamed in shock that she was riding a Pokemon.
"RED! I SWEAR THAT I WILL GET YOU BACK!" She wailed as she clutched onto the boy in front of her for dear life.
Red didn't respond, but he had a grin on his face. "Whatever you say, Vi, whatever you say..."
