Virizion had never thought about what might happen to her one and only friend once she left him alone. He was strong, yes, and had a mind with almost inhuman intellect when it comes to battling strategies. But emotionally, Virizion never exactly trusted Red.
Her mind wandered as she walked slowly across the pavement. Her right hand fidgeted with the locket that hung around her left hand, it usually meant that she was nervous... And this time, it was right. Her heart was pounding all right. Why wasn't he here? Why did he leave? She wasn't even sure why she was travelling with Red, was it because she was nice to her...?
No, it was because he made her feel safe. Unlike everyone else she had met. Everyone wanted battles, but that wasn't unlike Red, the thing that made him stand out was how much he cared for her, and how much he would do for her, and how careful he was around her.
A light from the place around the corner caught her attention. What was the music playing from it? It seemed so cheerful, that place. Her eyes suddenly caught sight of a sign.
Game Corner
It read, and the turquoise haired girl was immediately captivated by the bright lights, loving how they flashed around the diamond in the center of the building. Her eyes moved from the diamond to the doors, running to the excitedly before pushing them open.
Inside was slightly empty, but it made sense, since it was past midnight and all. There was a group in the corner. Red hair. Brown hair. Black hair. Brown hair. Black hair... Black hair...
"Red!" She cried out, a look of surprise on her features.
He turned around suddenly, his eyes widening as he registered the female in front of him. "Vi!" He had no idea what she was doing here, and also, in the middle of the night.
She quickly walked towards him, a small look of nervousness on her features, but gathered at her eyes. They showed pure fear. "You weren't back." She replied simply.
A boy with black hair, and a cap grinned at her, "Hey, Red. Is this the girl you said you knew pretty well?" His almost friendly tone of voice scared her.
