Mike's P.O.V:
I pounded at the door for the hundredth time tonight.
"Let us out you psycho bitch!", I yelled.
No response. Just silence.
I was about to bang on the door again when I heard a small bang on my wall.
I walked over to it and pressed my ear against the wall.
"Mike? Can you hear me?", Vic's muffled voice asked from the other side of the wall.
"Vic? Yeah. We need to get out", I replied.
"I think I have a plan", he said.
"Tell me", I responded, eagerly.
We needed to get away from this psycho asap.
"We should call Charles", he said.
"The dude who warned us about her?", I asked, furrowing my eyebrows.
"Yes! Him. Mike, he can help us", Vic said.
I thought for a moment.
"But how do we get to him?", I asked.
"We have to find a phone", Vic said.
"Yeah, but Aaron wouldn't just leave a phone lying around", I scoffed.
"Oh yeah...", he sounded like he just realized that.
"The only phone I'm sure she'd have would be on her", I said.
"She's not just gonna give it to us though", Vic said.
I had to keep my ear pressed against the wall in order to hear him.
"So we take it", I replied, getting an idea.
"How? We can't kill her", he said.
"We can knock her out", I replied.
"What? No", he said, sounding troubled.
"Vic, it's our only option", I said.
"How though? Have you seen her fight?", he asked.
"We can take her by surprise. I escape my room and you call for her. Pretend somethings wrong and when she comes, I'll knock her out. Then we grab the phone, call Charles and then the cops", I said.
"I don't know if this'll work", Vic said.
"Vic, we have to try", I pleaded.
"I know. Okay, okay. When?", he asked.
"Tomorrow", I bit my lip.
"Okay. I hope this works", I could barley make out him sigh.
"Me too, bro", I replied.
"Goodnight Mikey", he said.
"Night Vic", I mumbled and dragged myself to the bed.
This has to work.
It's our last hope...
*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
I woke up to the sound of the door closing and the lock clicking shut.
Aaron had just left a plate of eggs and pancakes on the desk beside me, along with a glass of milk.
I didn't want to eat the food but I knew I had a big day ahead of me and I needed energy, so with that in mind, I scarfed down the food and went into the bathroom.
Luckily, there was already soap and towels in there, so I peeled off my clothes and hopped in.
While I was cleaning myself, I pondered how I was going to get out.
There were no windows in the room, so my only option was to puck the lock. But with what?
I sighed and dried myself off and changed into a fresh pair of clothes.
What could I use to pick the lock?
I looked around and my eyes stopped at the closet.
I could use a wire from the hangers!
I prayed that there were hangers inside the closet and opened the door.
I groaned and slammed the door shut.
No luck.
I looked through the dressers for something- anything to help me.
I growled a string of curse words to myself and angrily plopped down on the bed, pulling at my hair.
As I shifted in my seat I felt something underneath me.
The springs.
My heart hammered in my chest as I felt the mattress for springs.
A flicker of hope lit inside of me when I felt them.
"Thank God", I sighed to myself and looked around.
How would I get to it though?
I looked over at the empty plate.
The metal shiny fork sparkled in the florescent light. As if calling to me.
I grinned and snatched it from the plate and immediatly began ripping the mattress with all my might.
"Come on", I begged as I dug into the fabric.
I heard the satisfying tear of the rough fabric and almost yelled in joy.
I put my fingers in the tear and using all of my strength, I pulled at it until it tore into a hole big enough for me to see many metal Springs underneath.
I grinned and tugged at the first spring I saw.
I noticed it was basically embedded into the wood holding the mattress together.
I cursed and pulled at it, using all my weight.
Snap!
The spring came loose and I fell backwards onto my butt.
Despite the dull ache in my ass, I grinned and went over to the wall towards Vic's room.
I banged on it, making sure it wasn't loud enough for Aaron to hear.
Hopefully Vic heard it.
After banging a couple more times, I heard Vic's muffled voice and pressed my ear against the wall.
"Are you alright Mike?", he asked, sounding worried.
"Yeah. Vic! I can pick the lock. Distract Aaron. I'm gonna pick the lock and then get something to knock her out with", I said.
"Okay. Be careful Mike", Vic said.
"You too", I replied.
I heard silence for a moment and then heard a faint sound, almost like a button being pressed.
Then I heard Vic's voice.
"Aaron! H-help! I c-cant breathe!", his voice came through.
He sounded truly panicked, and if I didn't know what was going on, I'd be worried.
I took in a deep breath to calm my nerves and went towards my door.
As soon as I heard Aaron's footsteps rush towards Vic's room, I took in a deep breath and straightened out the spring.
Show time.
