Chapter 2: Telling Moms

Previously On Two Fosters, One Nightmare
He ran into Callie and Mariana's room to find Callie but she was not there. Only Mariana was there. Jude quickly hid the test. "Do you need something?" Mariana asked. "Callie's pregnant!" Jude blurted out. Just then he covered his mouth. "I know. I overheard Callie in the bathroom. But I wonder who is the baby daddy." Mariana said.

"I know who it is but you have to swear not to tell anyone. I don't think they want anyone knowing because it could tear this family apart." Jude said. "I swear." Mariana said. "Ok. The baby daddy is... Brandon." Jude said. "What the!!!!" Mariana said. "I know. Moms are gonna freak when they tell them." Jude said. "If they tell them." Mariana said.

That Night (March 11th)
it was 7:00 and both Stef and Lena had just gotten home. they brought home Chinese food for dinner. "Kids! We're home and we got Chinese!" Stef yelled and everyone came down stairs. The second Callie smelled the food she ran to the bathroom. And out of habit Brandon wend after her. They went in the bathroom and locked the door. As Callie threw up Brandon held her hair back. "Thanks." Callie said as she got up. "No problem. Anything to help the mother of my child." Brandon whispered as they walked out of the bathroom. "Now that Jude and Mariana knew about Brandon and Callie they could tell. They could see that Callie was growing a slight belly. "Your not fine. Go lay down we will talk to you  when were done eating." Lena said.

"Actually moms I'm not really hungry I think I'm just gonna go lay upstairs in my bed." Brandon said as him and Callie walked upstairs. Brandon did not go to his bed. He followed Callie and layed with her. "Your gonna be ok. We're gonna get through this. And when we do in 9 months we will have a happy, healthy, beautiful little baby." Brandon said trying to cheer Callie up. "Really you think so? You think moms will be ok with this?" Callie said. "They will have to be. We're keeping this baby no matter what anyone says." Brandon said as he placed a hand on callie's belly. Callie did the same. "We're really doing this. We're really having a baby." Callie said starting to get excited. Just then moms started to walk upstairs. Brandon quickly went to his bedroom.

"Callie. What's going on?" Stef said as her and Lena sat on either side of Callie. "I think I just have the flu." Callie said. "It's not the flu. This has been going on for 6 weeks now." Lena said. "I'm fine just give me 3 more days and I'll show you that I'll get better." Callie said. "Ok. 3 more days. But if your not better by then, I'm taking you to the doctors." Lena said. "Ok. Will I need to stay home?" Callie asked. "Yes, I'll pick up all of your homework for you." Lena said. "Thanks." Callie said as her moms kissed her head and left. Jesus was in his room talking to Lexi. Jude and Mariana were looking at the pregnancy test again when their moms walked downstairs. He quickly put it away. He got up and went to his bedroom. When he got up the stairs he accidentally dropped the test not knowing that he did.

"do you know what's going on with Callie?" Lena asked Mariana as they cleaned up dinner. "No not a clue. It must be the flu like she said." Mariana said. "But the flu does not last 6 weeks." Lena said concerned. "Then I don't know. I'm going to bed goodnight." Mariana said and headed upstairs. She got her pajamas on and looked at Callie she was looking at her stomach. "I know." Mariana said. "You know what?" Callie said. "That your pregnant and Brandon is the dad." Mariana said. "Sush!" Callie whispered. "Sorry." Mariana whispered. "How?" Callie whispered. "How what?" Mariana whispered. "How did you find out." Callie demanded.

"well Jude saw you and Brandon walking out of the bathroom so when you were out of sight he went in and searched the bathroom. He found the test in the trash and came running into our room to find you. When Jude saw that I was the only one in here he blurted it out but I said that I already knew. But did not know who the baby daddy was. He then told me that the baby daddy was Brandon." Mariana said. "How did you find out before him?" Callie asked. "Well I came home, and as I shut our bedroom door I heard you say "I'm pregnant." Then Jude ran in the room" Mariana said. "Well next time I need to be more quiet." Callie said.

"we will all help you get through this. Plus you will have Brandon with you every step of the way." Mariana said. "Right. Well I'm tired so I'm gonna go to sleep. Good night." Callie said then fell asleep. Then Stef and Lena came up the stairs to go to bed. As they did they found a pregnancy test laying on the floor. Stef looked at it and saw the words pregnant on it. Then Lena went into the kids bathroom and found the box.

They knew who it belonged to. They went into Mariana and Callie's room and turned on the light. "Can you explain this!?" Stef said getting mad. "It's not what you think it is." Callie said. "Well it looks to us like a pregnancy test." Lena said. "I can explain." Callie said tears in her eyes. "And who is the father?!" Stef said madder than ever.

"Stef calm down. Let Callie explain." Lena said sitting next to Callie. "And did you know Mariana?!" Stef said. "Yes I did." Mariana said getting scared. "Who is the father baby girl?" Lena said staying calm. "Don't get mad." Callie said. "Is it someone we know?" Stef said sitting down. "Yes. Very well." Just then Brandon burst into the room. "Brandon?" Lena said. "IM THE FATHER!"
