Hanging with the wrong crowd

       "Wait..." I said breathing heavily. "I don't think I should be doing this." I said trying to catch my breath. "Come on Zoë we made it this far, we cant stop now!" Said my best-friend Alison. She grabbed my hand and lead me behind the trash can that was standing next too us. "Now on the count of three, we run." I nodded my head. "One..........Two.....Thre---." She was cut off by the sound of Nick's voice. "What do you think you two girls are doing?" He asked us, while lifting up one of his perfectly arched eyebrows."Uhh....we're washing the trash can...yeah that's it." Alison gave me a look that told me I should stop talking. She gave off a fake laugh. "What she was trying to say we are taking out the trash." She said through gritted teeth. "Don't you two live in the plaza?" He asked. "Uh we came here because we're visiting Zoë's grandma." Nick crossed his arms over his chest. "Oh really, what's your grandmother's name?" I looked at Alison and she looked at me. "Lucy."  "Loretta."  We both said at the same time. "Loretta, her name is Loretta. I said emphasizing the word Loretta. "Well...uh it getting late and we have to go help aunt.. I mean grandma Loretta take her bath bye!" I said while grabbing Alison's arm and leading her to the apartment complex.

     "We were so close!" I said while poking out my bottom lip. Me and Alison had been planning to prank Nick since he was the reason I was embarrassed  in front of the WHOLE SCHOOL. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was in the locker room, I had finished showering and then I went to my locker. The lock got jammed so I had no way of getting to my clothes. None of the other girls cared to help me, because I was new at the time. Anyways all I had on was a towel and I had to try and get to one of the gym teaches to get the lock of with out anyone seeing me.

      So I went out into the hallway and walked quickly to the office. The bell hadn't rung yet so everyone was in class. Then when I turned a corner, I bumped into a guy. (NICK) Then it got worse. When I bumped into him, I accidentally let go of my towel and it fell off, leaving me standing totally naked in front of him! Before I could get my towel, he grabbed it. I covered up my privates with my hands and told him to give it back. He said someone was behind me so I foolishly turned around. No one was there. He just wanted to see my butt! I told him again to give me back my towel but he wouldn't and then the worst thing happened: the bell RANG! I tried to run to the bathroom to hide but it was too late. Everyone was coming out of classrooms. They all saw me naked and laughed. I had nowhere to run or hide since they were all around me. I wanted to die at that moment I was so embarrassed, but luckily Alison was kind enough to help me. She gave me her jacket so I could cover myself up some what, and every since then we have been best friends "Come on Zoë its getting late." Alison said breaking me away from my thoughts. I walked over to my car and pulled out of the driveyway.

   After I had dropped Alison off, I went to subway to get me something to eat. I was starving! As I was pulling on the door to let my self out, I noticed Nick was calling me. "Hello." I said sounding monotonous. " Don't try to hard." He said and that was it he hung up! Like seriously who calls and says some weird crap like that and hang up, and what was he talking about? Well I didn't have that much time to worry about him and his stupid games. The only the thing that was on my mine was FOOD. 

    When I got home no one was there, but there was a note left on the refrigerator.

  - Zoë Kim and I are going to dinner with the Holden's, they are moving in next door to us. They have a son name Nick, which im assuming you know, but anyways we invited him over. You two should get to know each other, and you could show him around the neighborhood. Oh and if your hungry I left twenty dollars on the kitchen Island!

      My face began to turn bright red. It wasn't because of the hottest guy in our school was moving next door to me, it was because he is a stupid jerk! I have to admit he was every girls dream, but he was the type of guy who only wanted one thing, and we all know what that one thing was. SEX. Just as I was about to rip the letter my dad left up, I heard a knock at the door.  Before opening the door, I peeked out the window to find Nick standing there with a tooth pick in his mouth. I don't know why but for some reason I just started to laugh uncontrollably. He looked at me in confusion, and walked in the house. "I didn't say you could come in." I said while holding my stomach. It was like he was ignoring me because he took his shoes off and layed back on the couch, like he was at home. "Uh... Excuse me?" I said with my hands on my hips. "What?" He just sat there like he wasn't doing anything wrong. I stared at him for a long time. "Well, your  dad did say make your self feel at home." He said while wiggling his toes. I sighed and walked over to the kitchen island to do my homer work. 

    "Do you need help?" Nick asked. I could feel his arms around my waist, which caused me to jump. "No...uh.. I'm done." I stuttered. "He tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear. "You know, you should probally look over that." He said while breathing onto my neck. The way he talked to me made my skin crawl. He is Nick Holden the player. I can't fall for him, besides I don't like him! I think. "Look Nick whatever your trying to do isn't going to work." I said while hopping off of the stool. " I'm not like those other girls you sleep with." He grabbed my arm so he could stop me from leaving. " I know your not like them, your different." I smiled at him and grabbed the glass of milk that was on the counter. I didn't think he noticed I had it in my hand. "How many times have you said that to one of your little sleeping toys?" He looked up at the ceiling and started counting his fingers. Is he being  serious right now? I looked at him and shook my head, while pouring the glass of milk on him. "I was just kidding!" I didn't bother to say anything to him, leaving it at that I walked out of the kitchen. 

    I was laying on the couch reading my favorite magazine, which is ford, when Nick decided to pick me up and spin me around like some kid. "Nick....stop!" I said while hitting him in his back repeatedly. "I'll put you down under one condition." I sighed. "What?"

 "Will you go on a date with me?" My eyes widen in surprise. Did Nick Holden just ask me out!? OMG! OMG! OMG! But wait.... I dont't like Nick...Whats wrong with me? No No I cant like him! ugh!
