Chapter XI

Stowaway

There was two ports before Tybet.

When they got to the first port, the stowaway boy was going to jump off, but then he saw Narelli; and Narelli saw him.

"Stay here," she said and left.

She came back with food and another girl.

"What's your name?" asked the new girl.

"Robin, yours?" Robin replied.

"Narelli," replied the first girl.

"Roxanna, but everybody calls me Roxy," said the other.

"Who's everybody?" Robin asked.

"Manuel, Dabir, the crew, and Benjamin the captain," said Narelli.

"Who should know about you," said Roxy.

"Let's not tell him untill we are away from port, so Ben can't send Robin back," Narelli pleaded.

"Alright, but if we get in trouble it's on your head," said Roxy.

They all went quiet when Manuel walked into the room. Roxy took him aside and told him the plan. He nodded to Narelli and Robin, and left the room.

When they were far away from port, where Robin couldn't be sent back, Roxy took Ben to see Robin.

"That's Benjamin, I thought he was older," Robin said.

"I am sixteen," Ben replied.

"Oh well that's great, when we're going down, I'll remind you of that."

"Well, we cannot have a stowaway, something must be done," Ben said half to himself.

"Please Ben, I can pay for him," said Narelli.

"With what money?" asked Ben.

"Well, Roxy could help me and since she is going to marry Manuel and become queen-" Narelli was interupted by Roxy.

"Wait, who said I'm marring Manuel?" asked Roxy.

"Stop!" Ben started, "Robin will work on the ship."

Ben turned to leave, but before Narelli could make a fuss, he said, "And that's finnal."

*******************************

Robin was the person who was to make sure all the ropes were tired. It was a very hard job, because there were hundreds of ropes.

At first Ben didn't think Robin could handle the job, but Robin worked like his life depended on it. Everyone respected Robin for that, even Ben.

There was one thing Ben didn't like it was: that Robin liked Narelli.

He didn't like where that was going.

The next evening Robin and Narelli were talking a walk on th deck.

"Yesterday you said Roxanna was getting married. Are you?" he asked.

"Am I what? Oh, you mean getting married. I don't think so," she replied.

"So I could date you if I wanted to right?"

"No one would stop you."

"May I kiss you?"

"May-be."

Robin slowly put his hands around her waist and kissed her.

The kiss was soon enterupted by Benjamin.

"What's do you think you are doing on my deck?" Ben asked them both.

"I'm sorry, Benjamin, but what are you doing here?" asked Narelli.

"Don't answer my question with a question. Robin go to your room," Ben commanded.

"Yes, Father," Robin said under his breathe.

After Robin left, Narelli had a talk with Benjamin.

"Who do you think you are, to dismiss Robin like that?" asked Narelli.

"Um, the captain, and if you want to stay on this ship, you better behave," replied Ben.

"You sound like my father. You can't do anything to me or Dabir will stop you."

"Your right, I'll just have to get of Robin."

Narelli was so mad she could slap him. She thought of doing that as she stromed away.

"What right does he have to do that to me?" Narelli asked Roxy in their room.

"I don't know, but if I were captain I would do the same," said Roxy.

"Whatever."

Narelli then went to bed still mad at Benjamin.

***************************

At the next port, true to his word, Ben kicked Robin off the ship.
