The following day we all seemed to be getting better. None of us had thrown up since the previous day and my fever went down some.

I was currently getting dressed from taking a shower before brushing my hair out and pulling it up into a pony tail.

"So have you figured out what you're going to write your paper on?" Normani asked through the computer screen.

"No," I sighed. "I have the rest of the semester, but I don't want to spend the whole time thinking about what to write about and only have two days to write the paper."

"Do tigers," Lauren said as she flipped through the channels on the t.v.

I rolled my eyes. "No, Lauren. I'm going to write about a stupid tiger."

Lauren gasped and turned to me with her mouth hanging open.

"You better apologize right now."

"Sorry," I said and went back to raking my brain for ideas.

"Do it about something you're passionate about," Camila said.

Dinah stood up. "I'm going to get us food," she said and put her shoes on before leaving.

I spent the next fifteen minutes thinking of something to write about only to come up with absolutely nothing in the end.

"So what have you been up to?" Ally asked Normani as Lauren's phone started ringing.

"Hello?" She asked answering the call.

"Yes, mom. We're sick," she said and I looked over at her as she leaned back against the chair.

"Ally, Camila, Emily and myself."

Another pause.

"No, Dinah has been helping us. Normani hasn't had her flu shot yet, so she's been staying away from us."

Lauren stopped talking and looked over at me.

"She's fine. I've been taking care of her the best I could," she said and sighed.

"Well I'm sorry that we're both sick with the damn flu."

I watched as she brought her hand up to her face.

"I told you that I've- you wanna talk to her? Here," she said and tossed me the phone before getting up and going to the bathroom.

I watched her walk away just as I picked up the phone.

"Hello?" I asked putting it up to my ear.

"Emily? How are you?" My mother's voice filled my ears.

"I'm sick," I said standing up and walking to the window.

"I'm sorry hija," she said. "Has Lauren been taking care of you?"

I coughed and looked out of the window at the screaming fans.

"Lauren's been amazing," I said. "You shouldn't be hard on her."

"I know, but you're my baby girl," she said.

I narrowed my eyes as I heard two doors closing. Looking over, I saw both Lauren and Dinah appear.

"She's your daughter too, mom. Just because Lauren happens to be the oldest doesn't mean that she's any less of your 'baby girl' as well. She's sick, mom. We're all sick and you're calling Lauren to check on me and yell at her. That's not fair. That's not what a mother should do."

"Emily Danielle Jauregui," she screamed causing me to pull the phone away from my ear as I winced. "You will not talk about me like that and you will certainly not question my parenting and love for my first born. You're lucky I don't fly over there and get you, do you understand me?"
