The small thing...,was breathtaking, he had coppery brown fur that glinted n the headlights of passing cars, with black socks on all four of his feet, electric blue eyes that seemed to have an unnatural intelligence behind them, his fluffy ears pointed to the sky, and his two silver tails twitched, disturbing the smooth pattern of rain falling out of the sky. He came up to around my knee in height as he padded over to me and place his paw on thigh as I crouched in front of him.
.
Suddenly I slipped off my grey jacket and wrapped it around this amazing creature and gently picked it up. It made no protest and curled into my chest with its head resting on my collar bone. My heart warmed at the sight and Shielding its body I started jogging home. The freezing rain punctured my skin like tiny needles, seeping deep into my bones until my teeth were clacking together like the ensemble of a terrible band. I barley noticed the growing pain in my shoulder and the sharp rattling gasps I was heaving while the rain ran over my brows, dripping onto my upper lips and misting in a sharp spray as I breathed out into the cold air.

I rounded the corner and a wooden apartment building with yellowing flakey paint came into view. The metal fence was rusted and screeched horribly as a I flung open the gate and fumbled with my keys at the brightly painted red door. I quickly unlocked it and pushed it open with my foot and it slammed into the wall. An elderly fellow hollered something incoherent as I narrowly avoided slamming into him as I jogged down the hallway. I reached the door of my room and once inside I set the mysterious creature on my kitchen counter top, and ran over to the heater, turning it up as high as It could go. Turning back to the strange being on my counter I plugged in the sink and filled it up with warm water.

"Okay...let's get you cleaned up!" I said a bit warily as I took a good look at him. He was soaked through and his fur clung his body.. Mud caked his paws and there was a black smudge above his nose.

The animal just looked at me with speculating eyes and cocked his head to the side. Sighing I picked him up and plunked him into the water. He froze in the water, then with a quick flick of his tails, the water sprayed over the sink, soaking me. Gasping I look down and then back up, and I swear it was smirking at me.

"....You little rascal!!!",I said playfully, and then continued giving it a bath, all the while it was giving me a death glare.

"What?" I asked, "Don't like water?"

It answered me with a spiteful turn of his head away from me, " I'll take that as a yes." I muttered.

After I had taken a shower of my own, I sat down on my bed with my laptop, or well I tried to sit down. Rez (well I couldn't just keep calling him it now could I? ),the little rascal was dead asleep smack dap in the middle of the darn bed!!oh well I thought, and pulled my long blonde hair over my shoulder humming while I started to fix a pot of coffee for the morning, but right when I was about to turn on the coffee pot my bedroom door went flying across the room with a loud bang.
