Luke's POV:
A tear rolled down my cheek as I see Lorie standing next to Aston in the doorway. "You can't tell her what, Luke?" She asked again looking severe. I swallowed a few times before I could come up with something. 'I uh I ..' But that's all what came. Lorie was still looking at me, she put her hand in her side and leaned against the door waiting for me to reply. I can't just tell her, I mean, that would ruin everything, then she would probably never talk to me again and that's the last thing I want.
"Lorie, maybe you should go downstairs so I can talk with Luke." Ashton broke the silence. Lorie didn't move a muscle and just kept on staring at me like I was some dangerous animal. "Lorie," Ashton repeated her name and poked her arm. She nodded her head and then left the room. I heard her feet shuffle down the stairs and when everything was quiet, Ashton came in and closed the door. "You can't tell her what?" Ashton asked me the same question as Lorie. He came to sit next to me on my bed and looked at me. "I can't tell her, I can't tell you, I can't tell anybody," I say wiping my tears. "If you can't or don't want to tell me it is fine, but you need help, Luke!" He rubbed his hands through his curly hair and put off his glasses.
"Whatever you're struggling with, please talk to me, talk to Lorie, talk to your parents about it because what you're doing now is not an option." He said with a serious voice. "It makes me feel good, relaxed, you know," I said looking up at Ash. "Maybe for now, but you'll always need more to feel good and relaxed and one-time things are going to end bad, is that what you want?" Ash stood up from the bed and walked towards the window. "You need to go to rehab," Ash said monotonous. "What??" I said standing up from my bed. "I'm not going to rehab Ash!" I yelled.
I heard footsteps on the stairs, it was probably Lorie to check if we were alright. The door went open and Lorie entered my room. "Is everything alright? I heard you yelling so loudly." She said breathing fast because she probably ran upstairs. "NO I AM NOT AND IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT BECAUSE YOU LET ME DOWN!" I grabbed her arms and started shaking her. Ash grabbed me and threw me onto the floor. "You need to calm down Luke!" He said walking up to Lorie. "Are you alright?" He asked her." Her whole body was thrilling because of me. She looked at me as if you wanted to attack me. I could see in her eyes that she was furious. "That you're mad at me, I can understand, even though I've tried a million times to make it up. That you don't want to talk to me, I can understand. But that you physically attacked me, there you crossed the line. And will I forgive you for this? Probably yes, because you mean everything to me, but make sure I will never forget this. And I'm not letting you down again, I'm here for you now, and I will be here for you in the future on one condition: You'll go to rehab, or otherwise our friendship is over for good, I will never talk to you again and I will move. Is that understood?" She finally ends her speech. "I'm not going to rehab, is that understood?" I say loud and clearly. "Understood," Lorie said and walked out of my room.
