The waves lapped at the shore as the girl walked along the edges. Her feet made splashes in the shallow water on the silent beach.

"Take a deep breath in the mirror.

He didn't like it when I wore high heels.

But I do

Turn the lock and my headphones on

He always said he didn't get this song

But I do

I do." she sang quietly.

A street light flickered in the distance, a dog barked and music played.

The town was oblivious to the sad girl walking alone on a dark night.

"Don't run. Come play." A voice called from behind her.

"Gladly." she turned and faced the shape standing in the water.

It was a older girl, one of the oldest. It's shorts and crop top were soaked and covered in seaweed. It's hair clung to it's face and it's eyes were glowing blue.

"I can help. Don't run."

"I won't." The girl took a step toward the Nameless.

The glowing orbs that were it's eyes narrowed before it held it's hand out to the girl.

"Don't run. Come play." It took the girl's hand.

She screamed and fell to her knees, her jeans catching sand. The screeching that filled her ears was silent to the rest of the world. One hand was still firmly holding the Nameless's hand.

"HE HURT US!!" millions of voices screamed into her ears, now a whisper to anyone near.

"Joined." it said, dropping her hand and sinking into the waves.

The girl's body lay still before she got up and walked into town.

"Don't run. Come play." she whispered when a man slit her throat.
