Tyler POV

I frowned as Dakota stepped behind this guy.

Who the hell is he with?!

"Kota...? I'm sorry! But... Who's that?"

The guy smiled, no more like smirked at me, he extended his hand.

"Hello, my name is Luke, Dakota's really good and long lasting friend. What's yours may I ask?"

I glared at him.

"Hello nice to meet cha, and no you may NOT ask! Kota and I are leaving now."

I reached to grab Kota's arm.

He stepped back, his head was tilted down so I couldn't see it.

"C'mon Kota..I am really really sorry."

Luke stepped in between us, slightly pushing me away.

"Ah, I don't think Dakota wants to see you now, or at the moment. Tsk tsk tsk...what ever you did, you should be ashamed."

I clenched my fists and teeth.

"Man the people dakota hangs out with are so messed up...i mean..shit I said that out loud?! Fudge.....well Kota..I know your mad at me....so I am going to leave you here with your ....friend......your always welcome at my house....what am I saying......ok I am leaving now! SHut up, TY! OH MY GOSH...I AM so messed up."

Laughing nervously, My hand in front of me waving, I backed out of there and started running home.

Dakota's POV

"Man the people Dakota hangs out with are so messed up...."

My eyes widened.

The people I hang out with.... Are messed up?

It felt like something was stabbing my chest over and over again.

I mean...

I wouldn't really care if anyone else said that...

But from Ty.....

A tear slipped down my cheek.

I didn't hear the rest of what Ty said, but he started running away.

Normally, I could call out to him or run after him.

But what he said to me...

At this point, I didn't even know what to think anymore.

More tears slipped down my cheeks.

Seconds later, Luke turned around toward me and placed his hand on my shoulder.

"Dakota... What did he do?"

I looked up at Luke, blushing.

"H-he told me that.... I'm h-his and o-only his..."

Luke's eyes widened a little.

"You're not his..."

I heard him mumble.

"I'm not his...?"

Luke stared at me.

"...you're mine."

My breath hitched and my eyes widened.

Luke's cheeks were a light pink, and he looked away.

"...just kidding."

Luke looked back at me, smiling a little.

"I'll take you back to your house-"

"No!"

I shouted.

His eyes widened as I shook my head harshly.

I sighed softly.

"Can I stay over at your place tonight?"

Luke smiled.

"Sure."

He took my wrist and we walked over to his house.

~Next morning....~

"Man the people Dakota hangs out with are so messed up...."

I sighed.

I couldn't get those words out of my head.

I walked over to Luke's dresser, looking through the drawers.

All his clothing were... Band-ish.

Welp, I guess I have to wear his clothes for today.

I took an outfit out of his drawers and put it on: a black t-shirt with a band logo on it, black skinny jeans with chains on the pockets, black fresh converse, and a black beanie.

There was a knock on the door and Luke stepped into the room.

"Hey, Dakota."

He grinned, looking me up and down.

I slanted my eyes at him.

"Stop checking me out, perv."

Luke blushed and looked away, then walked over to me and grabbed my wrist.

"C'mon, I'll freshen you up."

Luke grinned, his voice sly.

He grabbed my wrist and dragged me over to the bathroom.

-

"Look at the mirror."

I stood in front of the mirror, my eyes widening.

Luke had put black eyeliner on my eyelids, and cuffs on my wrists, a choker around my neck.

Luke danced in the background.

He suddenly grabbed my shoulders and brought me to him.

"Your new style."

He wrapped his arms around my shoulder.

"Let's go to school."
