Tyler POV

I woke up, stretching and yawning.

Jumping up I run to Kota's room, but find he's not there.

My eye's widen, I stand there, millions of thoughts swarming in my brain.

"Tyler...where's my brother?"

I look down to see his little sister tugging on my arm sleeve.

Tears threaten to spill from my eyes, but I quickly blink.

Bending down on my knees I smile taking her hands.

"Your brother stayed at a friends house last night.. I am sure he is ok! But right now we both should start getting ready for school!"

I say, trying my best to be happy..under the circumstances....trying not to think...that Kota..might be mad at me.

I quickly get dressed and hurry out the door.

I run to school as fast as I could.

I can't afford the time to think to leave my mind alone..i can't think..about anything...can't think of him.

Now when I do, my heart, me, the world...it feels as though everything has stopped....when I do I have to realize I did something to hurt him.

Clenching my teeth, and clutching my notebooks closer to my chest, I feel a few tears escape.

I felt myself slam into someone, then I bounce back, landing painfully on my head.

Looking up I find myself looking at the most meanest teachers ever.

Her eyes were daggers as she glared down at me.

"GET UP MR.SENTER."

I got up, she then started to write on a sheet of paper.

"Detention every day for the next two months."

With that she turns and walks away.

My jaw dropped and my eyes widened.

"W-w-what?"

"Get out of my way"

I heard a cold voice behind me, before I could see who it was, someone kicked me to the right side of them 'out of there way' apparently.

"HEY, What th-..Kota?"

He looked at me, bored.

"What the hell happened to you?!"

Dakota's POV

"What the hell happened to you?!"

Ty said, his eyes widening as he looked up at me.

I glared down at him, the corner of my eye twitching.

"Why would it matter to you, loser?"

I hissed.

Ty's eyes widened a little more, in pain.

"I-I...I'm really sorry for...."

I clicked my tongue.

"Tch. Quit it, you piece of shit. You're making me nauseous."

Ty bit his lip, his eyes watering.

I smirked.

"Heh, that's more like it. Cry, trash."

I gave him another kick.

I took a couple steps around him and looked over my shoulder back at him, glaring.

"Hmph."

I flipped my hair and turned around, heading to class.

I rounded the corner, and walked into my classroom.

My classmates stared at me.

I walked down the aisles and sat in my seat in the back.

Laila tuned to me in her seat next to me.

"So, I see, new style?"

I shook my head.

"This is what was in Luke's dresser."

Laila's eyes narrowed.

"Two timing, I see? Ty's gonna be angry.... But anyways, did you do anything naughty with Luke?"

She wiggles her eyebrows at me, and I shook my head, gagging a little.

"Nuh uh...."

I turned to the front of the class, where I found the teacher staring at me intently.

"Mr. Lowe?"

The teacher called me.

"Yes, sir?"

I answered.

"Are you wearing eyeliner?"

The teacher asked.

I gulped.

"....uhm.... Yes.... Sir....."

The teacher sighed.

"Detention for two months, Mr. Lowe. You know the rules."

My eyes widened, and I sighed, burying my face in my hands.

Luke.... Damn you......

Tyler POV

~time skip to wonderful and awesome detention ~

I trudge into the classroom I was assigned in.

There were only two desk...the hell?

"Miss why are there only two desks?"

"Only two people coming..NOW SIT DOWN!"

Rolling my eyes I slump in my chair drawing on my sheet of paper, when the door opened.

Dakota came walking in, he looked tired.

He gave his slip to the table, then he turned around.

We stared at each other.

I looked away..i was sorta mad.

As was he.

He collapsed in the desk beside me.

Sighing loudly.

He had changed...he wasn't like the Kota I had known.

I turned my back toward him, resting my chin on my hand and looked down.

Detention was not a good place for me...gives me the perfect time and place to think..and the conditions I am in..not a good idea.

Dakota's POV

Ty turned his back toward me.

"...tch."

I grumbled.

I loved detention, honestly. The teacher wouldn't give me any work to do, which was good. And plus, I could just zone out and daydream about what I would do if I met my favorite anime characters.

So, it wasn't that bad.

Until now.

Because this jerk is beside me.

I looked at Ty from the corner of my eye.

His eyes were closed and his hair was flowing softly in the breeze from the open window.

...jerk.

I took my eyes off him and looked out the window, leaning my elbow against the desk and my chin in my hand.

It was an overall sunny day, a day that I would usually be spending at home watching anime.

But here, no phones.

I sighed loudly, banging my head against the desk.
