I woke up to the faint smell of papaya. I looked down to find tahani asleep in my arms and it felt so
right have her in my arms. She looked so peaceful and angelic.(whoa i really think i'm falling for this
girl and i don't know much about her.) As i was stuck in my thoughts she started to stir a little in her
sleep. i was met with the warmest brown eyes.
"good morning." she said with her raspy morning voice.
"Morning." i said still staring deeply into in hers. I had a strong urge to kiss her but i want to get to know her a little more. she gets up and stretches , i found myself staring at her again. goodness what is she doing to me.
"you wanna go get some breakfast." she asked while in the mirror fixing her hair.
"sure." i got up and put my shoes back on and ruffles my curls a little to get rid of my bed head. she put on her shoes , got her wallet and keys. we headed to my dorm room to get mines and we headed to the on campus starbucks.
as we were walking i thought i would be a good idea to strike convo with her to get to know her more.
"So tahani do you want to play 21 questions while we walk.?" i asked looking down at her since shes shorter than me.
"Sure i don't see a problem with that." she said shrugging her shoulders.
"okay , i'll go first. how tall are you.?" i asked.
"I am 5'5 . how tall are you?" she answered.
"i am 6'3." i answered.
"what's your full name.?" she asked
"Chase Michael Matthews, whats yours." i answered.
"Tahani Faith James, When is your birthday?" she asked
"June 12th, when is yours ?" i answered.
"July 22nd." she answered.
By the time she answered we were already walking to the door of the starbucks.
we ordered a couple iced expresso's , a peppermint hot chocolate , and a salted caramel hot chocolate. some bagels and donuts and headed back to tahani's dorm room. by the time we got back in there noah and kendra were up watching a movie again.
"there you guys are, we were wondering where you guys went." kendra said.
" we brought food." tahani said lifting the bag of goodies.
"Yessss." noah said taking the bag out of her hand. we sat down and continued the movie they we watching.
after the finally left me and kendra went to the bookstore to get the supplies and books for class.
"so hows your little morning stroll with chase." kendra asked.
"it was fine. we got to know each other a little better." i told her.
"oh really , i smell a little love connection ." she said nudging me.
"what are you talking about. we barely know one another for it to be love." i told her.
"I'm trying to be open to meeting new people and making friends." i continued.
"Ooh.. you never know he might be your future husband." she said with a big smile.
"whoa i am only 19 , i ain't thinking about marriage right now. i'm thinking about getting my degree.
"Speaking of degrees , you never told me what you are majoring in." she asked.
" i am going for a double major , in art and music." i told her.
"Well i'm majoring in theatre." she told me.
" oh you act. that's cool i want to see you act, maybe when you have plays i'll be to every one of them to support you." i told her with a smirk on my face.
"aww you will support little ole me." she said pointing at herself. i could help but to start laughing at her dramatic ass. i can't with her. i am happy i don't have any classes with her. she would get me in so much trouble.
we finished up getting our things , paid for them and headed back to our dorm.
10 minutes later
as i was getting all my things in order for class the next day , i received a text from chase.

I looked at them text messages and smiled to myself. It's only 1 o'clock I guess I'll take a nap or something and then get ready for this "date" with chase. Whoa is this a date. Oo lord.
a few hours later
i got out the shower, lotioned my body, got dressed and put on some light makeup.

as i was putting the finishing touches on my hair and jewelry. There was a knock on the door.
i got up and opened it to find chase looking all so good. how can someone be this good looking.
"you ready to go?" he asked
"Yeah , just let me grab my bag and keys and we can go." i told him.
we headed out to go bowling and a movie. i had a amazing time for once in a long as time.
I'm going to stop here. since writers block done hit me like a freight train.
i am going to update again soon probably sometime next week since i'm getting married this friday. My time is going to occupied for the next three days.
