I haven't seen tahani all week. I'm starting to think she's avoiding me. I don't understand why tho. I thought we were cool. Every morning I try and see her she's already gone to class and every night she's already asleep. I need to know what's really going on.
I have not been in the mood to talk to people. Not my roommate nor chase or Noah. I just have so much on my mind that I need to sort out and figure out. That's why I'm going home this weekend. I need to recuperate and get my mind at rest and piece. What I found out about my father cheating on My mother and having a child with another woman. It literally broke My hurt and altered the way I looked at him. I decided to go home and look through things in the attic to get a understanding and actually meet this brother of mine. ------------------------------------------------
I had all my clothes packed for the weekend. Kendra was still in class so I decided to leave her a note to my whereabouts. I picked up my bag and headed down to my car.
As i was putting my bag in my trunk I heard my name from a familiar voice. I turned to see chase looking confused.
"Are you dropping out?" He asked.
I took a deep breath trying not to look his eye cause I know i was going to cave if I did.
"Oh.. no just going home to visit for the weekend." I told him.
"But you only been here a week. Why you need to go back so soon.?" He asked. "Family things. " I said in a annoyed tone. "Well I gotta go see you Sunday night, maybe."
"Yeah see you Sunday. " He said coming in for a hug, which I was not ready for and I was stiff when it first happened but I quickly faltered into him and wrapped my arms around his torso. I felt his chin on the top of my head. He smelled so good. I honestly missed being around him. We finally broke our hug which I felt like lasted like an hour. He kissed me on my forehead and told me to text him. I told him I would but I might not.

I finally made to my hometown. I felt weird being back but also good since I'll be seeing my sister soon.
I finally made it home . I parked in the driveway and got my things and headed to the door. I used my key and let my self in.
I was welcomed with a smell of deliciousness and chatter. I put my bags down and headed into the kitchen to find tahiti cooking some chicken alfredo.
"It smells good in here." I said. She turn her head , eyes wide. Semi screaming. "Tahani!!, hey baby sis. " she said coming close for a hug.
"Babe tahani's home. " she yelled into the living room. Next thing I here is foot steps.
"Hey tahani, nice for you to finally show up."He teased giving her a hug.
She swatted his arm and started giggling until she looked up and noticed a guy with dark curly hair and green eyes.

Tahiti cleared her throat. "Uh tahani , this tyler.. our brother. I invited him over for dinner." She said.
"Hi , nice to finally meet you. " He said reaching out to shake my hand.
"Yeah same." I said while looking down rejecting his handshake.
He placed his hand down and cleared his throat a little.
"Be nice." Tahiti whispered into my ear.
"I don't have to." I said back.
"Uh okay me and Tyler are going to go back into the living room , t let me know when dinners ready or if you need any help." My brother in law stated.
" okay hun." She said. "Tahani go wash up and then come down and help me with dinner , would ya please.
"Yeah okay. " i said walking to grab my bag and heading up to my room.
She changed her clothes to something comfy. She took her makeup off and her hair in a messy bun. As she was washing her hands she heard a knock on the door.
I got up and answered it. And was met by tyler. Who looked nervous.
"Yes." I said looking at him up and down.
"Tahiti wanted me to let you know that dinner is ready. " He said.
"Uh okay tell her I'll be down in a minute. " i said closing the door in his face.
I know I'm coming off mean but I'm just not comfortable around him.
Not yet. I need time.
I grabbed my phone and headed to join everyone for dinner.
"Nice of you to join us." Tahiti said.
"No problem." I said back with a smirk on my face.
"So tahani what are you majoring in." Tyler asked me.
I cleared my throat.
" I'm going for art and a minor in music" I told him taking a bite out of my food.
"What do you do.? " i asked him.
" i am a literature teacher for middle schoolers. " He said.

"Oo . " i said while taking another bite of my food.
"Titi, how's my nephew doing in the belly of yours."
"He's doing good. He'll be here in a couple months. I can't wait. " she said rubbing her belly.
"I can't wait either. " I said smiling at her.
We continued small talk throughout dinner. I must admit tyler isn't that bad of a person and I kind felt bad about being a little mean. Maybe I should give him a chance.
We said our goodbyes to tyler and I headed up to bed. I made lunch plans with tyler. I'm willing to give him a chance.
