A few days passed and I could say that it is one of the best holiday I've had in a long time. The last time I truly enjoyed myself with my family was when my grandmother was alive. I am just so thankful for the family that I have , old and new. I've gained a brother and a nephew. I feel like the happiest girl in the world. I woke up this morning feeling happy and peaceful. After my grandmother passed I was in a dark place. I became a introvert, I focused more on school and home. Tahiti dropped out of college and enrolled into a local community college taking online classes , just so she can take care of me . She also got a job to help with the mortgage and bills. I did get a job as well. It was basically us against the world for a while. I am so thankful for her. I stretched and got out of bed, went to the bathroom I did my morning duties. Fixed my hair into a decent sloppy bun. I headed downstairs and brewed some coffee. It seemed like I was the only one up this morning. I decided to sit on the porch swing and just enjoy the light morning sun. Once outside I started to snow light which made me happy.
"Good Morning !" Someone said. I turned to find Tyler walking out on the porch with a cup of coffee.
"Morning Ty." I said with a slight smile.
"Do you mind if I join you out here." He asked . I nodded my head as he sat down next to me.
"This snow fall is beautiful right." I asked him.
" yes it is. It's finally starting to feel like winter." He said.
"Exactly what I was thinking ." I explained. It grew quiet again. It was a comfortable silence.
"So.. What's going on with you and Kendra." I asked him as I took another sip of my coffee.
"She's a cool girl but she's just young. She and I are in different places in life . I don't want to interfere with the learning and growth that college brings." He explained taking a sip of his drink.
" that's understandable ,but you never know , she might be more mature then you think" I said finishing my drink. As I get up I turn to him. "Just give it a go and if it doesn't work for you just cut it off. Take it slow ya know. " I told him.
" I can't believe my little sister is giving me advice on my love life and actually making sense." He said with a smirk.
"You'd be amazed at how much wisdoms lies in this brain of mine." I said walking into the house to clean my cup. As I walked in the kitchen I could saw Tahiti and Kendra preparing breakfast.
"Morning guys." I said walking past them.
"Morning." They said in unison.
"Did you just wake up." Tahiti asked.
"No I've actually been up for a while. Tyler's awake too, he's outside." I said putting my cup away.
" oh okay well why don't you make yourself useful and help with breakfast would ya." She said nudging me.
" okay , okay. " I said
We got to preparing breakfast , laughing and telling Kendra funny stories from our childhood.
"What's all the commotion " a voice said.
We turned to find mike and baby mason walking into the kitchen.
"Oh. Nothing honey just me and Nani telling Kendra about our childhood shenanigans." Tahiti said walking over giving mike and mason each a kiss.
"Oh lord, you guys were crazy kids. " he joked.
" we weren't that bad. " I said trying to be serious , when all actuality we were pretty crazy kids. But we've grown so much and now can laugh at ourselves.
"What are we talking about " Tyler said as he walked in from what looked like a shower because his curls were wet.
"Nothing serious , good morning little bro . " Tahiti said giving him a side hug. I was admiring from afar at their relationship . Which looks like they have gotten pretty close over the last couple months.
" alright guys. Let us finish preparing the food and then we can finish reminiscing." I said kinda shooing them out of the kitchen.
We finally finished with the food and started setting the dining room table.

We finally got everything set up and called everyone to grub. It felt good to just enjoy food and your family and friends company.
The rest of the day went well. Me, Tyler, and Kendra decided to go sledding later in the day. It made for feel like a kid again.
I hope you guys enjoy this chapter. I know it takes me a while to update and I apologize about that. I plan on getting on a set updating schedule which was originally Wednesday's and Sunday's . Which I think I'm going to keep it that way. I just have to be consistent . I appreciate all of you for reading my story which is my first one so bare with me. I have so many ideas for other stories.
