Cassie walked down the hall, passing by students to get to her locker. She looked around seeing some kids whispering and looking at her. She didn't care, she could careless about anyone in this school or if they didn't like her. That is less people in the world she has to worry about. She got to her locker and opened it to get her notebook, books, and anything else she needed for her math class before she closed it back. When she got to her math class, she sat down in the back of the room where her desk was. Students began rushing to their classes when the bell rang; Cassie just sat there sighing in boredom. She propped her arm on the desk and leaned her head against her hand as students sat down in their seats. She noticed a guy seating next to her so she glanced over at him; she didn't know him or anyone in school because she kept to herself. The boy has short messy brown hair, pale almost grey skin, blue hoodie, jeans, and converses. He was casual though she notices that he twitches and tics sometime; students found humor in that while he did so. She could hear students near her and the guy "He's so weird." One said "He's such a freak." Another said "Look it's Tourettes boy." It kept going even when the teacher got there.

Cassie just rolled her eyes and put her attention towards the teacher and took notes while doing so. Honestly it was hard to focus while the students around them both continued teasing the boy next to her. Cassie glared at them; feeling sorry for the boy and getting annoyed at the same time. Class was coming to an end, the bell rung for students to head to their next class. Student flooded out the classroom except for Cassie and the boy next to her. The boy got up and grabbed his bag before heading towards the door, but his leg seemed to twitch and he fell onto the hard floor. He growled in annoyance; Cassie got up herself and walked over to him while he cursed to himself as his head twitched and tic.

He noticed a hand held out to him; he followed the arm up to see a girl waiting for him to take her hand. She had red hair that went to her shoulders, bright blue eyes, a blue v-neck shirt, jeans, and converses. She also had a little makeup on, though the bruises and cuts on her arm that weren't recent caught his attention "Are you alright?" She asked with concern. Why does it matter to her? She just being generous to him "I-I'm fine." He stuttered in anger. He was lucky that no one saw him. He got up himself; she just began to walk away from him. Cassie couldn't blame the guy being that way, everyone is teasing him.

Later during school, it was lunch. Everyone was sitting with their friends and eating the school food that wasn't so great. Cassie didn't bother getting any food though she did see that guy again. He was sitting by himself and there wasn't anywhere to sit or want to sit; Cassie didn't know anyone or liked anyone. She walked over to his table "Can I sit here?" She asked him. He looked at her while she stood there "Look if you don't then say so." He noticed some students staring at them, though mostly her "Y-Yeah, sure." He answered. Cassie smiled a little and sat down, just a one seat away from him; she didn't want to make him uncomfortable like he already is. He didn't know why she's even near him at all; first she was being generous, but now she's near him. Then again, he didn't even thank her for trying to help him up; maybe she waiting for him too. Yeah, she's just there waiting for him to thank her and then leave to be with her friends. He sighed "Thanks f-for trying t-to help me e-earlier." He mumbled. She seemed to have heard him "No problem." She replied with a sweet smile. She didn't leave though "I understand that you don't feel comfortable around me." She added and it was true. "I'm Cassandra James. Just call me Cassie." She introduced. He looked at her for a moment "Toby Rogers." He introduced back.
