Above is the song. You know the drill.

I want to thank everyone for reading this story! I also want to give a special thanks to @teamjacobblack18

Enjoy!

I woke up to sunlight burning through my window. It took me a second to come to my senses.

I was out of my bed within the next couple of seconds, every second counted. I stood in front of my mirror to brush my hair, I still haven't gotten used to the purple hair.

Once I got downstairs, I had a really quick bowl of cereal, then I put the bowl in the sink, not bothering to wash it yet.

I got into my car and stomped on the gas pedal, eager to get my friend back.

***************

I got there and parked outside the house, refusing to leave until I could talk to Jacob.

About 30 seconds later, I saw Billy peak out from behind the window curtains. I smiled and waved to him. He continued to frown and let the curtain drop.

    I sighed. Oh well.

After a few minutes of waiting, finally needed something to distract my mind from imagining horrible outcomes, like never getting Jacob back.

I dug around in my backpack that I had left in the truck, and came up with an old test, and a pencil. I started to doodle on the back of the test to pass the time along.

I had only gotten one row of diamonds done, when I heard someone knock on the car window. I looked up, expecting it to be Billy telling me to go, only to be surprised by none other than Jacob Black.

I signalled with my hand for him to back up so I could get out.

I slammed the door behind me, already furious. It seemed that the rest of his friends were here as well.

He changed. That was for certain. His hair was short, he seemed bigger, he had a tattoo, and he wasn't wearing a shirt.

He looked so similar to the people around him. I couldn't help counting.

    4. There were 4 others besides Jacob.

I didn't look at any of them in the eye. Why would I? I took a breath to clear my mind.

Jacob. I was here for Jacob.

"What do you want Bella?" He interrogated with a menacing voice. I flinched.

"I wanted to talk to you." I answered

He gestured for me to start.

"Alone." I growled, mustering up some courage.

He looked behind him, towards Sam. They all did. I had to restrain myself from slapping one of them on the face.

Sam gave a slight shake of his head.

Jacob looked back at me. "Anything you want to say to me, you can say in front of my friends."

This comment only made me more mad. " 'Your friends?' " I mimicked. "Is that what you call them now? Because I remember you calling them 'hall monitors on steroids'?!?!" I shouted.

"Actually, no that was me." Some deep annoying voice said.

I didn't even spare the owner of the voice a glance.

Jacob sighed. "Bella, you need to go, to go and not come back."

"What are you talking about?! Jake, what did they do to you?"

"They didn't do anything to me." It was even worse than I thought.

"Yes they did! You cut your hair, got a tattoo, and aren't wearing. . ." I gestured to his attire "normal clothes." I finished.

"Well I'm not the only one that changed!" He barked, gesturing to my hair.

"Don't you dare try to turn this around on me!"

"I just decided that I needed a change! Okay?!"

"No! Not okay! When you want a change you try yoga classes or something! You don't join a gang and get a–"

"Actually, we're not a gang, we're a pack of friends." The annoying voice interrupted again. And again, I didn't look at the owner.

I started again. "Look, Jake, I know I'm not perfect, but if you just gave me some time. . ."

"No Bella, it's not you. It's–"

"It's not you it's me, right?" I cut him off. "What the heck is the matter with you? Is Sam doing this?"

That hit a nerve. "Don't blame Sam!" He practically growled, putting emphasis on each word. My eyes flickered up to him.

"Well, who should I blame then?

"If you want someone to blame, blame those filthy bloodsuckers."

"I don't know who you're talking about," I said robotically.

"Don't make me say their name, I know what it does to you."

"I don't know who you're talking about," I repeated without thinking about doing so.

    "The Cullen's." I winced.

"You know better than to believe silly legends, Jake," I said trying to keep my voice light.

"I'm sure it is." The voice said sarcastically.

"What the bloody heck is your problem dude!?!?!" I shouted, turning to him.

The smirk on his face was immediately wiped off. I smiled, feeling a small victory. . . until he sunk to his knees.

His expression was one of pure awe and . . . love? As confused as I was, I couldn't think of anything to do except slowly back away until I was as close to my car as I could get. So that's what I did.

There wasn't that much in my life that prepared me for his next 4 words.

    "Bella, I love you."

    Hey Y'all!

I hope you don't regret the time that you spent reading this book!
