Louis and I were alone, the whole party had move inside to dance.

“So tell me, how’s life babe?” Louis asked me.

“You know, nothing really changed. Uni is fun but I still hang out with the same people and it’s always the same stories here. What about you? How is you city and Uni?”

“Not very different from here but I really miss you guys! It’s not the same ambiance… People are more posh…”

“I see… And the girls?”

Louis laughed shyly. He was drinking his fifth beer of the night.

“Don’t try to lie Lou! I’ve seen the pictures of you and a certain El..?”

“Eleanor yeah.” He finally admitted, his head bent, with a shy smile.

“Tell me more!”

“Well, we were in the same economic class last year, this is how we met and she used to come with her little brother to the toy shop where I work. She’s really funny and nice, we have a great time together… She’s different. I don’t know why.”

“Awww, my immature Lou finally fell for someone.”

“Don’t say that it’s just that... I like her… That’s all.”

“Yay, sure Louis, you’re not in love at all.” I said grinning. “Anyway, I’m happy for you.”

“Thanks Hannah. Now, tell me about you? Do you have a crush or someone?”

“No but I’m fine like this…”

“And what about THE boy?” he nodded in the direction of Harry who was drinking, leaning his back over a wall. “He told me you and him had spoke recently?”

“He did tell you that? Really?” I rose my eyebrows.

“Yeah...” Louis replied, giggling. “Why does it surprise you?”

“Harold and I aren't friends you know, it surprises me that he talks about me...”

“But he always does.” Louis told me. “Every and each time I'm with him, we end up talking about you.”

I was dazed.

“You're drunk,” I said, “What you say has no sense.” I laughed nervously.

“Believe me or not but I tell you. This guy,” He pointed Harry with his finger, “He's still in love with you and your little war? It's a stupid illusion.”

“Louis, I hate him. He cheated on me.”

“What? That's the most stupid thing I've heard!” He almost yelled.

“Shhh! He did not tell you about Amy?”

“Amy? My cousin Amy?”

“Your what?...”

“My cousin Amy, she's thirty and married. I'm pretty sure that nothing happened between Harry and her.” He began to laugh and it was hard to make him stop.

“Louis, Louis! Stop it! Listen! Listen to me!”

“AHAAHAH, you should have see your face! Harry and Amy what a joke!!”

“Listen!! Why would he tell me that then? Louis, why??” I was decided to make him speak, I had no merit, the alcohol helped me a lot.

“Because he fucking love you Hannah!” Louis shouted, which made Harry and others people glanced towards us. “From the moment he left, he wasn’t the same. He first lost his smile, then his humour... I've even heard him crying once, when he was at mine. And it was like a knife in his chest when something remembered your face to him. It took him a time before he could speak of you. He just preferred being somebody else to forget the past. To forget he hurt you.” Louis' words were hitting me so hard... People were still looking at us, I tried to smile in a natural way but I saw that Harry understood something was “wrong”. He opened the bay window and moved forward in our direction. Louis was laughing again as a fool.
