The btc grabbed her face, got her shit, and left. I had a few calls to make after I got out the shower.
Angel’s POV
I woke up to Aniya’s soft cries. I don’t even remember turning on her baby monitor last night. I felt some arms around me and turned around seeing a sleeping Lamont. I smiled after remember what happened last night. Lamont and I are officially a couple…again. Well time for me to check on baby girl.
“Where are you going?” Lamont said while pulling me closer to him. I laughed and tried to get out of his grip. “Let go babe. I gotta check on Aniya.” I said. He sat up, kissed my cheek and told me to get dressed while he checked on Aniya for me. With that being said, I went into my bathroom to start my morning routine. When I got out the shower, I threw on some black shorts,a Batman v-neck shirt, my yellow & black Jordans, and a Batman beanie. I walked back into my room to see that Lamont was nowhere to be found.
“Mommy tum here” said Aniya. Well guess its time to get my princess ready for today. I went into her room to see that she was already dressed in her black Hello Kitty jogging suit, her zebra print Hello Kitty shirt,her Hello Kitty earrings, and her black sequin Hello Kitty high tops (what can I say, my child loves Hello Kitty). Lamont was attempting to do her hair. I laughed at the sight of that. I hurried & snapped a picture of it. I put it on instagram and said “Look at the bae @MoneyMakin_King attempting to do lil mama’s hair…priceless.” Lamont looked up at me & laughed. “So I guess you trynna copy my look today huh?” said Lamont. I looked at what he was wearing and he was wearing a Batman shirt, black shorts, yellow/black Jordans
“Lamont thanks babe, but I’ll take it from here.” I said. “naw baby I got this.” He said laughing. He finally managed to figure out how to put her hair in 3 straight ponytails, with my help. I went into the kitchen to make breakfast while Lamont helped Aniya brush her teeth. I hooked my iPhone 5 up to my speakers and let Lyfe Jennings voice fill my kitchen.
Lamont’s POV
While Angel was in the shower, I took that opportunity to use the guest bathroom to shower & everything. By the time I got out, Angel was still in there. I swear that good takes forever to get ready, so I got NiNi ready for her. Anyways NiNi just finished brushing her teeth so I’m going to put her in the living room to watch a little tv while I help Angel cook.
“NiNi what do you want to watch?” I asked. Aniya walked over to the DVD stand and pointed to her Pocohantas movie. Angel has this baby hooked on ALL old Disney movies. It’s too cute. Aniya went to sit in her Hello Kitty chair while I put the DVD in for her. After making sure she was set, I went into the kitchen. Angel was lost in her own world, just singing and cooking. Her voice is still as beautiful as it was in high school. She was singing “17 to a million” by Lyfe Jennings featuring Jennifer Nelson. I pulled out my phone and started to record her when she started to sing Jennifer’s part. After she finished,I posted the video on Instagram,Twitter, and Facebook saying “I swear she has the voice of an angel. Made a nigga fall in love. Man I love my wifey @MisheardPoet. Yeah y’all heard right. My WIFEY. A nigga taken by the best.”
Angel turned around and seen me standing there. “Hey! How long were you standing there?” she said while making our plates. “For a hot min.Let me help you set the table.” I said, grabbing her and Aniya’s plates. After everything was set on the table, Angel came into the kitchen with Aniya and put her in her highchair. About 15minutes we were done eating and sitting in the living room playing with Aniya. “What y’all wanna do today?” I asked. Angel shrugged and Aniya said “wets go ta da zoo. I want see amiwals.” We both laughed and grabbed our things then headed out.
Chris’s POV
I was riding around with my bestfriend Mo’Nique and her little girl Brandi. Man my little goddaughter is too gorgeous. I was taking them to the zoo today. I needed to get Mo’Nique’s advice about how to get Angel to change her mind about me getting Aniya. When we got there, Mo’Nique went and took Brandi to the bathroom. I pulled out my phone and got on Instagram. I strolled down my feed and seen a video of Angel. Damn when did I start following Lamont’s ass. I let the video play and listened to Angel sing. Man I remember she used to sing to me all the time. Shit. I miss her so much. I read the caption and it said” @MoneyMakin_King I swear she has the voice of an angel. Made a nigga fall in love. Man I love my wifey @MisheardPoet. Yeah y’all heard right. My WIFEY. A nigga taken by the best.” Low key seeing that mad my heart hurt a lil bit, but it’s ok.
I clicked on Angel’s page and seen all sorts of pictures of her & Aniya. I clicked on her latest update and it was a picture of that nigga Lamont doing MY daughter’s hair. That instantly pissed me off. I followed Angel and put my phone away. Mo’Nique came back with Brandi and we walked off to go look at the animals.
Angel’s POV
We were having so much fun at the zoo. Lamont was carrying this little stuffed white tiger Aniya wanted along with her diaper bag while I was chasing Aniya around. This is how I know this girl is sleepy. She only does stuff like this when she hasn’t had her nap. Aniya ran into this little girl who was also running away from her mom. I helped both of them up and checked to see if they were ok.
“Hi sweetie. My name is Angel. Are you ok?” I asked. The little girl smiled at me & hugged me saying “Thank you. I otay.” Lamont and I laughed as the girl’s mother walked up to us saying “Oh my god! Thank you so much. She just took off out of nowhere and I couldn’t keep up.” She shook my hand and introduced herself. “My name is Mo’Nique and this little road runner is Brandi.” We looked over at the girls to see they were so busy talking and playing so we left them to be. “Well my name is Angel. That’s my daughter Aniya and this is my boyfriend Lamont.” I said introducing all of us. After Mo’Nique introduced herself to Lamont and Aniya, we all walked around looking at the lions, tigers, and the bears when we bumped into someone I never thought I would see at the zoo. Yup. It was Chris.
Brandi ran to Chris and he picked her up, kissing her cheek. Oh hell naw. I know this nigga do NOT have another child that he’s taking care of when I’ve been taking care of Aniya on my mf own all this time!!! Fuck this shit!
“Hey Chris! Nice to see you…again!” I said. Chris looked at me and Mo’Nique, then at Aniya who was on Lamont’s shoulders. “Uh, babe let’s get Aniya some lunch. It’s about that time. I can hear her stomach growling in my ears.” Lamont said laughing. For some reason Mo’Nique insisted that they joined us since Brandi hasn’t eaten lunch either. In my mind I was thinking “why in the actual fuck would I want to have lunch with my dead beat baby daddy, his girl, and his baby while my daughter is sitting here fatherless.” But I had to think about the kids, so I agreed.
