Today I'm excited, nervous, happy, sad, angry, you name it. I'm probably feeling it. I'm Kathleen Drew. I'm 14 years old and I live in Michigan. My father just recently got offered a job in New Jersey, and today is moving day. I'm feeling mixed emotions about it. I am happy to have a new start. We are moving into a HUGE house. But I really don't want to leave my friends. I will miss everyone soooooo much. I have been crying all morning.
"Flight 234 to New Jersey please board the plane."
This is it. My last sight of Michigan before I leave. I immediately start to cry. My mom pulled me into a hug and tried to calm me down but I just couldn't. The person I am going to miss the most is my best friend Joey. We have been inseparable since we were 3. Now I have to leave him forever. He promised to text and video chat me everyday but it just won't be the same.
We boarded the plane and pick our seats. I was on the window seat. My brother was next to me. I pulled my laptop out of my bag. My brother and I just finished watching the Hunger Games as my mom tapped my shoulder. "Kay we just landed" (my name is Kathleen but everyone calls me Kay.) "Ok mom" I say as I prepare my self for my ears to clog.
