*Mikey's p.o.v.*
After we ate we all went back to my place for a fire. As we all sat and talked I couldn't stop thinking about Kay. I really like her and want to ask her out but I just don't know how and I'm afraid she will say no. So I just sat their and said nothing.
"Mikey are you okay?" my sister asked while getting up. "come here."
We walked inside and sat down on the couch.
"what's wrong?"
"well I really wanna ask out Kay but I'm afraid she will say no." I admitted
"Mikey she told me she likes you. She will defiantly say yes."
"Really??? Should do it tonight?"
"yes!!"
And with that we walked back outside and I sat next to Kathleen. For the next hour Sydney kept shooting me looks. I know she was waiting for me to ask but I'm so nervous I can't even speak. After another half hour Steve and Hannah leave.
"I think we should get inside its getting late. Kay do you wanna sleep over?" Sydney asked.
"ya let me just go grab my stuff." Kay said as she waked to her house.
"Mikey why haven't you asked!?!?" Sydney asked curiously.
"because I'm to nervous I just cant."
"well you better do it soon before she meets someone else." my sister has a good point. There are so many boys she could fall in love with and it would kill me to know she is with some else when she could be with me, but I was too scared to ask her out. I have the perfect plan to ask her out.
So here is the plan. When its really late ill text her to ask if she is awake. She told me she always has trouble sleeping at other houses so she should be up late. Once I get the text saying she is awake I will tell her to meet me outside. And ill ask her out there.
*Kay's p.o.v.*
Its 2 a.am. and my phone just went off. Who would be texting me at this time? I unlock my phone and see a text from Mikey.
Mikey: hey r u up?
Kay: ya y what's up?
Mikey: can you meet me outside?
Kay: sure ill be right there.
what could possibly be so important that he needs me to meet him out side at-- my thoughts were interrupted when I looked out the glass door to the patio. There Mikey was standing in the middle of dozens of roses and candles on the ground while he holds a single rose in his hand.
"Kay I have to ask you something..." Mikey said sounding really nervous.
"will you be my girlfriend?" on the inside I screamed with excitement.
"yes of course Mikey." I answered while running to give him a hug.
He handed me the rose and be blew out the candles then we made our way inside. We spent the rest of the night watching movies and cuddling. After 3 movies I fell asleep happily in his arms.
