2: Date with Mukuro

~ Makoto's P.O.V ~

Kyouko told me that Byakuya cheated on her nearly a week ago and they haven't talked or made eye contact ever since.

He's tried to contact her every single night and has even tried to contact her through me but I turn him down every single time because it was his choice to freakin' cheat on her with Junko friggin' Enoshima.

Mukuro and I have barely hung out ever since then because I'm pissed that she didn't tell me that Junko slept with Byakuya, knowing that he was dating Kyouko.

They say that they were drunk but everyone's calling bull. Junko did it to get back at Kyouko for being the one that Byakuya chose to date.

Okay, let me explain their predicament. When Byakuya started to date Kyouko they didn't really get along where Junko and Byakuya were like Besties or whatever and Junko's jealous as all hell ever since.

That's probably the reason Junko slept with Byakuya if she wasn't as drunk as he was, if they were even drunk.

I'm just glad that Kyouko didn't ask me to stick around right after the bomb was dropped on her because I don't know how to comfort women. All I know is that giving them chocolate and leaving the room is the best choice in matters like those.

I just don't want to go to school today because I have two tests today; English and Calculus. Fun, the best way to spend a Monday is taking tests.

I also have to drive Kyouko to school because Byakuya isn't driving her anywhere anymore.

I pull into her driveway as soon as she walks out the door. Today she's wearing her uniform with a darker shade of purple bow in her hair.

She climbs into the passenger seat and turns on the radio.

Back In Black by AC/DC started to play. AC/DC is the only band that Kyouko and I listen to together.

"Holy crap, I haven't heard this song in a long damn time" She says, smiling.

We haven't driven to school together in nearly six months. Byakuya always drove her unless he was sick or didn't feel like it.

"Surprising. I thought that this was your favorite song?" I asked, pulling out of her driveway.

"Yeah but I usually don't listen to it unless we're hanging out" Kyouko said.

After a second she realized what she said and began to blush.

"Th-that was awkward, sorry" Kyouko stammered.

"It's fine, I was gonna say something awkward before you did" I replied.

"That's..strangely comforting" Kyouko grinned.

"That's what I was aiming to do, comfort" I smile.

The song changes to Highway to Hell by AC/DC. My favorite song and Kyouko's second favorite.

We've always had the same taste in music for as long as either of us can remember.

"Great. That's exactly what I need, comfort" Kyouko laughs.

I pull into the school parking lot and park the car. I kill the engine and we both climb out of the car.

"Thanks for driving me, Makoto" Kyouko thanks me.

"No problemo" I said.

"Problemo? What are you, a grandma?" Kyouko asks.

"Yep, totally" I grin.
