I woke up to my mom shaking me. "Honey, get up and get ready. You have a few hours until it starts but your dad wants you to go somewhere with him. I think you're going to eat." I rolled over and smiled. It was finally happening. I was meeting Simon! I got out of bed and got dressed.

I straightened my hair and did my makeup. Then we had a knock on the door. "I'll get it." I hear my mom say. She opens the door and I see him. My dad. "Hi Kal." Kal is my nickname. "Hi." I tried to smile. "Well, we better get going. I have a few places we need to go." It was 9 am. Impact started at 2. Why would we need to leave so early? Whatever I'll be fine. We walked down to the lobby and walked outside. I see he still has the same car. I walked to the passenger side and sat down. " How have you been?" My father was trying to talk to me. That's a first. " I could've been better." He turns and looks at me." I'm sorry sweetie. I-" I cut him off. "No need to apologize. I understand." He had a confused look on his face. "Alright. Well first we are gonna go eat." We pull out of the parking lot and drive without talking. When we go to IHOP, I see something that looks familiar...... It was the tour bus. "Oh my god." I say softly. "What was that sweetie?" "The tour bus. The tour bus is over there." I pointed to the bus that was parked under a shade tree. "Oh ya, I have a surprise sweetie. You're gonna stay in a hotel with me tonight." What?! Not happening. "Ok why?" My dad smiled. "Let's just say I talked to an old friend and he got the guys to stay in the same hotel as me. And the best part is, no one else can check in. They made it to where it would only be us and the guys." My mouth dropped open.
