I watch as my best friend barges past me after I open my door and goes straight towards my bedroom not even bothering to say hey to me. I run up the stairs after her and into my room to see her rummaging throwing clothes onto my bed from my walk in closet.
"Nicki what the hell?!" I ask yell at her right before a pair of jeans hit me in my face. "Yes?" She asks not even coming out of the closet. "Why are you all up in my closet?" I ask going in after her to see her looking through my dresses.

"I'm getting you an outfit for your date tonight" she tells me while walking up the stairs that lead up to the second part of the wardrobe. "First of off how do you know about that and second off I can get my own outfit and third off I don't have a date, Toni is..a friend" I tell her.
She stops what she's doing as she turns towards me while rolling her eyes "girl please y'all wasn't even sitting by each other in the restaurant last night and I still felt the tension between you two, and you need my help you haven't been on a date since you and Jay divorced" she tells me before turning back to looking at my clothes.
