The New Order (TNO) is the remains of the old United States government. They owned anything above the Mason Dixon line, including Maryland and Northern Virginia (more information later). When the states seceded in 2061, The New Order wanted to stop the fighting between the former states. They only got themselves into more trouble. In 2063 the new countries blamed The New Order for the crash of '55, and sought revenge. The Federated Republic relentlessly attacked many New Order forts stationed in their territory and killed off any stragglers. At this point, The New Order was in very bad shape and needed to catch up. One way was a major disaster. The New Order started a testing phase called Project Equinox. The New Order's objective was to make a super soldier for the war effort. The project involved human subjects, which they got easily. They tested on civilians using diseases and uranium, but to no avail. Most of the subjects got numerous diseases that evetually killed the subjects. Other subjects turned into mutant like creations, having more limbs and organs, though most either died or escaped contanment. If theydo escape, they oftenly contaminate a huge population and turn them into mutants as well. Most mutants fled to Mutant Resistance territory. Even to this day, TheNew Order had not come up with their super soldier, and are still testing.

The Federated Republic (TFR) owns almost everything south of the Mason-Dixon Line and anything east of the Mississippi river. They started when a man named Ronald Carver expressed his views about the crash. He was a U.S senator and was viewed very positively during the crash in the south. Carver was running against the previous president, John McDonnell. When McDonnell won again for a second term in 2057, Carver was outraged. He thought McDonnell was the reason for the crash and wanted him prosecuted. During his own inauguration, McDonnell was assassinated on stage by an unknown sniper. The sniper shot McDonnell once in the chest, and he bled to death. Though no one had physical evidence, Carver was suspected of the murder plot. Before anyone could bring him on charges, Carver ordered the south to seceded from the north, and declared himself leader. The south, despite desperate claims from the north, seceded completely and formed The Federated Republic. Carver still rules the country to this day and thinks of himself as the "king of the country".

The Silverman Assembly (TSA) own almost all of the southern states that are west of the Mississippi, River, including Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, New Mexico and Arizona. It all started when a man named Thomas Silverman, during the crash of '55, was unaffected. Just a few days after the crash, he ventured out into the states showing advertisements for his company, Red River Corporation. When everyone suddenly stormed into the factories and started working, Silverman had the best idea throughout his whole career. He ordered everyone in the company to enlist in a new military force if they wanted ANY money they got from working at Red River. At the time, people were pissed but had no choice and joined. Despite this, he did not give them any money when they worked with Red River. He soon grew popular throughout the southern states, and people everywhere were joining. In 2058, Silverman ordered his forces to annex neighboring states and kill anyone who didn't submit. When they came across Texas in 2060, they came across stiff resistance. Silverman halted attacks on Texas up until 2064 (current year) with a full scale assault on the new country's northern tip. The battles with Texas rage on to this day.
