Yes! The day came! Finally! It was 5 days after the injury happened and now I can finally play football again! I shot up in bed and patted down the stairs. "Woo! I can play football again!" I cheered. "Yay!" Dad and mom said. Elaina rolled her eyes. I ate my breakfast happily and ran upstairs to get changed. Mom said I still had to wear my ankle wrap do I wrapped hat around my ankle. At school my friend group cheered about me finally being able to play football. I was practically bouncing on my toes on the field waiting for football practice to start. Then if started. I played with so much energy I felt like i could blow up with all that energy. After school my friend group came over to me and we all decided to hang out at my place. While we were walking to my house Ryan said,"is elaina going to be flirting with us again?" "Honestly I don't know," I said. We got to my house and elaina immediately started flirting with the boys. "Elaina! My friends did not come over to flirt," I said. "Oh but they like me!" Elaina said. All the boys looked at each other. Then they looked at Elaina. All in unison they said,"nah." Then all of them and I started cracking up falling on the floor. I caught a glimpse of Elaina completely red. Then she ran up the stairs. Elaina and I go to tad dang school. Whenever we come home from school with friends we text mom not to pick us up. "Watcha wanna do?" Asked Ian. "Wi?" I asked. Everyone agreed and we trampled up the stairs to the tv. At school the next day a boy stopped me in the hallway. "Hey cutie. Wanna get something after school?" He said with a flirty smile. "Ugh do you know who I am?" I said. "Um. Cute girl in the hallway?" He said. "I'm Jacklin Osly. The biggest tomboy in the school. The only girl on the football team. I have never fallen in love. What makes you think you are going to be able to make me fall in love?" I said. The boy shrugs. I walk away heading to math class. Why do boys always try to get me in love with them? And why are they always in love with me? At lunch time I head over to the lunch table I sit at with my friend group. On my way a girl pushes me. I tumble to the ground. The girl giggles. "What was that for!?" I yell infuriated. "Hey, little boy," the girl said. I look up at her. I was still on the ground. I was frozen. Who am I? I'm a girl but I act like a boy. I didn't know what to say back. I'm a girl. I know that. So thats what I'm going to say. I knew she was saying that to be mean. It was obvious that I was a girl. "I'm a girl," I said standing up. "Where's your fashion? Where's your makeup?" the girl said. "SHUT UP!" I yell. Then my friend group comes over. No one wants to have a bad impression on my friend group. Everyone in my friend group are really popular, cute, and hot. Girls always want them to be their boyfriend. The girl freezes as my friend group comes up to her. "Who do you think you are?" Chase asked. "Uh...uh," the girl stammers nervously. "Don't you dare be mean," Jason said. "Back off of Jacklin!" Marcus yelled. The girl ran away. "Thanks guys," I said smiling. I hugged them in a group hug. "Anything for our Jacky," Marcus said.
